Welcome to Sunset Bay. Completed in 2012, the home sits at 19 ft above the ground and 24 short steps up the stairway. Sit back on the 10 x 40 ft porch and take in the beautiful water and sky with the fire pit and chairs. A four top table and chairs with accent lighting are at the ready for meals, drinks or coffee. Inside is beautifully appointed and furnished in light coastal inspired decor. The large open floor plan provides plenty of space in the kitchen, living and dining areas. Three French doors open up from porch to living and dining brings and the outside and light inside. Enjoy the Large wall mounted flat screen tv in the living room and wall mounted flat screen TVs in all other rooms, all with cable. Wifi is available for your convenience.The Master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed with 100% cotton sheets, down comforter, en suite bathroom and 2 large closets.The guestroom has a queen bed which is very comfortable as well and a large closet. The bunk room has two sets of bunk beds and is decorated in a nautical theme perfect for kids and has a large walk in closet. The lower bed on each is a double and the upper on each is a single. Ceiling fans and wall mounted flat screen tvs are in all of the bedrooms. Extra blankets, throws,and extra pillows are all available for a good night's sleep or snuggling for movie night! There are gorgeous granite counter tops in the kitchen and all bathroom areas. A laundry room equipped with a full size washer and dryer are conveniently available for your use. Downstairs in the storage area is a kayak ready for adventure. Explore the Jordan River and its marshes or catch Redfish, Speckled Trout or Crabs. On the ground level there is a comfortable entertaining area with two dining tables and seating for 10 where you can enjoy an evening meal while watching the spectacular sunsets. The ground level area also has rope hammock, BBQ pit and seafood burner/boiler/and pot setup, all ready to cook your catch of the day. There are beautiful views of the Bay and/or river from every room and awesome sunrise view from front porch which is a great place for morning coffee. The Hollywood casino with fine dining is a half mile away as the crow flies, and Old Town Bay St. Louis is a direct route 2 miles away where the Harbor and marina is located, as well as fine dining and beach type open air bar and grill restaurants and local music. Downtown also has clothing and gift boutiques, bakery, and ice cream shops and the popular art walk on weekends. Local white sand beaches can also be accessed from downtown while the scenic route to Gulfport and Biloxi offers roadside beach access with jet ski and sailboat rentals. A boat ramp is located near the Hollywood Casino. Dock your boat right out front in the canal where you are 200 feet away from the Jordan River and Bay St. Louis.

We had a great time! The house had plenty of space and was nice and clean. The kids enjoyed nonstop fishing, catching crab and kayaking. We also drove a short distance to the Aquarium one day and ate at The Blind Tiger in Old Town Bay St Louis. We would definitely visit again sometime.

My 89 year old dad and my 3 sisters and family go on a trip every year. This location and house was perfect for us. We enjoyed quick access to the Jordan River and the bay in our boats and the view was beautiful. We hope to be back next year!

Our stay was perfect. The house was super clean and comfortable, especially the beds. The neighborhood is very quiet. Everything as was it was listed on VRBO. The professional ice maker was an added plus as were the kayaks which my husband used to fish.

Fishing get-a-way

We were in town for a long weekend of fishing. We had our bay boat and used the dock to tie to when we weren’t using it. The house accommodated us just right! The location to the Jourdan river and to town was the best we have found when bringing our boat. We had a great breeze on the upper deck which made it very enjoyable in the evenings. The AC worked great, we had what we needed and had a great time! All the neighbors were friendly also as a bonus!

Peaceful Getaway

We usually stay in Pass Christian but thought we’d try Bay St. Louis for a change. We enjoyed the patio and the deck. Temperatures were in the 90’s but we spent a lot of time outdoors. We liked how close to the restaurants and the casino were to the house. We wanted a quiet getaway and we found it. We’ll be back for sure.

What makes this property unique

The property is located on a quiet dead end street with direct water access to the bay and Jordan River. The views from the living room, front porch and ground level are spectacular. The sunsets are one of our family's favorite times of the day. Witnessing the lightening shows and enjoying summer storms that are very different further inland are another surprising way that we enjoy our property. The fall & Winter months are also very enjoyable, relaxing around the firepit on the front porch.
