A 10-minute drive to either Stockbridge or Lee; 25 minutes to Great Barrington or Pittsfield. Located on one of the loveliest roads in the Berkshires with gorgeous southeasterly views, the house is quiet with no other houses in sight. Stroll down the lane to a private tennis/pickle ball court, or wander further down the hill and hike the Tyringham Cobble.
Filled with light, the first floor features an open kitchen; dining room; bathroom with standing shower; living room with delightful seating areas; a quiet office space; and a second, beamed living room and tv / movie area. On the second floor, there are two gorgeous full bedrooms with queen-size beds; 2 full baths; a bedroom with a double-size bed; a twin bedroom; and a cozy bunk room. A screened porch shaded by honeysuckle vines is perfect for afternoon reading and atmospheric outdoor summer dining, while a traditional open porch wraps the rest of the house.
