My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The heated floors in the living room was so appreciated with our single digit and minus temps after coming in from outside. . The view of the lights on the mountain from the back porch/hot tub area was amazing! And the hot tub was a pleasant 104. Perfect! Thank you!

Great house in a great location

This was a great house for my family of 6. We really enjoyed the location, views, and hot tub. We could easily walk to the main area of Girdwood. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the living room area. Overall a great and easy stay.

I brought my family, 6 people total, to stay in Girdwood. It was the perfect location for day trips to Anchorage, Seward, Whittier. The home was private with a great view of Mount Alyeska. I would love to book this beautiful home again.

Beautifully breathtaking!

Our favorite of the trip. We felt at home. Beautiful view from front and back doors. Three moose came to greet us our first morning. We hope to return someday!

If you enjoy a vacation property that doesn’t provide a clean hot tub, has a rodent problem, and includes a property manager who doesn’t respond, you’re in luck, this rental is for you!When we arrived, the hot tub was in unusable condition. The water color and strong odor suggested it had not been properly maintained and did not appear sanitary or safe to use. We contacted the property manager to report the issue, but nothing was done during our stay to address or improve the condition of the hot tub.In addition, we encountered two dead mice in the property during our stay, which was concerning.While the craftsmanship and woodwork inside the unit are excellent, the maintenance issues and lack of response from the property manager outweighed those positives. If we return to the area, we would choose a different property.

Girdwood Alyeska Ski Trip

Location was good, 2 minutes to town, 4 minutes to ski area! Hot tub with a view of the slopes was awesome! The woodwork and craftsmanship of the home was fantastic! The place could probably use a fresh coat of paint and updated floor coverings where applicable, but otherwise it was great!!!

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. The half bath light was out, but all light bulbs in the home have now been replaced. The upstairs tub drain has been unclogged and is flowing properly. Regarding the heating, this home has in-floor heating, and we maintain it at 65–68 degrees before guest arrival to prevent pipes from freezing, especially since temperatures in Alaska have been in the negatives for several weeks. We understand it can take time to warm up fully and appreciate your patience. We have also purchased extra light bulbs and stocked them in the home in case any go out during a stay. Lastly, the smart lock was experiencing issues due to a low battery. The battery has been replaced, and extras are now stocked in the home to prevent future malfunctions. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.
