Why they chose this property
This property was part of the Getz Farm & Zoo in 1910 owned by a self- made multi-millionaire from a humble beginning, George F. Getz. The place often attracted a lot of people. In fact, in one weekend, an estimated 50,000 visitors visited and, in one season, 800,000 people visited. To put that in perspective, Cedar Point averages 21,000 visitors a day. In 1932, Getz decided to charge an entry fee for the first time.
What makes this property unique
The house is cozy to unwind and relax. Your private beach is just a few (14) steps down to enjoy and lay out in the sun. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids on the beach such as kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, floating/ jumping off water pad, skim boarding, surfing and enjoying a fire at night. Tunnel park beach is just 3 min walk. Ice cream shops, eatery, boardwalk, Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan channel, Mt Pisgah are just a few stops to enjoy around Holland State Park ---just 20 min bike ride.
