It was a perfect location- beautiful views- exceeded expectations. The host was incredibly accommodating with a last minute request. Would highly recommmend!
Just astonished with the views-both the Sound and the Olympic mountains. Fantastic kitchen-we cooked Thanks giving dinner easily as a family. Loved the covered hot tub and all the nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Great location-walked to the waterfront and a few blocks to the highway. Will definitely stay here again!!
Such a pleasant experience. We needed a place to relax and enjoy each others company and this was the perfect place. I loved every part of the house. Very clean and well kept. Will definitely rent again in the future!
Lovely place to stay if you want to visit and tour the Seattle/Tacoma area. Central location, lots of places to eat, or get takeout. Great views in morning, sunrise is amazing. Sunset is great too, but sitting on deck in evening can be a little warm.
This house was amazing! It has a beautiful main floor with a gorgeous view, just perfect for relaxing with family. The bedrooms were spread out with plenty of full bathrooms for our group. Two separate decks with views...We really enjoyed our stay!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Please come back again when you are in the area!
The place exceeded our expectations. Seamless check in and check out. Great location. Very clean. The hot tub was a hit. Great view. Close to a lot of places to eat.
We had a wonderful family gathering at this property. Xiao was extremely easy to communicate with. The space was perfect for our family of 6. We will return!
This house is beautiful and exactly as described.... I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again!
The hot tub is wonderful....and well maintained.... the kitchen could use a few more items like a colander and steak knives... and we absolutely loved the bathrobes left for our use! Although it could use some more towels...
This place has so much to offer! Thank you to the owner....

Thanks for the tips and we're glad you enjoyed yourselves! We'd love to have you back whenever you're in the area!
We were in Tacoma for a wedding. The house was perfect for us and our three adult children and their spouses. We loved the big kitchen counter. We loved the view. We loved the perfect weather....not that the house made this happen but...lucky us....just made the view even better. We were also lucky to see the northen lights from the big outdoor deck. Absolutely the perfect weekend and house for us.

Stayed here for six nights over Thanksgiving holiday. Fortunately I brought a lot of what I needed in the kitchen to prepare our meal for nine people. There was a full set of plates but all other dishes, glassware and utensils seemed to be whatever previous guests had contributed. House is badly in need of repair and maintenance and deep cleaning. I read previous reviews on “immaculate” condition and was very disappointed that floors were gritty and dirty, which was apparent when wearing socks without shoes or going barefoot per house rules. Downstairs shower is completely unsafe with loose, rocking floorboards in which I managed to pinch my toe. King bed is 18” off the floor. All mattresses are uncomfortable memory foam. On the plus side it has a beautiful view from back deck and in warmer, dry weather would be very enjoyable. Kitchen has huge island and adjoining dining area and living space very comfortable. Oven looks new and worked great. Quiet, lovely neighborhood close to markets, etc.
Overall, we had a good stay. Good location, Place was clean, Some of the beds were not comfortable. Missing measuring cups for baking. Not needed but second kitchen not equipped. Dining table chairs not a good match for table.
We stayed at this property because it was near my in-laws house and we haven’t seen them in almost 2 years. The home with sparkling clean with wonderful sheets and towels. It was such a perfect place to gather on the porch and enjoy the beautiful views of the water and mountains and the sun in the afternoon. We enjoyed the hot tub also.
The kitchen is very open and well equipped. I cooked several dinners for my in-laws and we could enjoy each other’s company while I’m cooking.
Only my husband and I slept here but we plan to return with our family to spend time with my husband‘s aging parents. We plan to return very soon!

Wow, thank you for the amazing review Colleen! It is so great to hear about how much you enjoyed your stay and the amenities in the home. You were a wonderful guest as well, and are more than welcome to stay again in the future.
This property more than exceeded our expectations. We chose it first based on how many photos they provided of the interior, and we're happy to say it was one of those rare times seeing it in person was better than what you saw in the photos.
The interior was exactly as described and within the first day we felt at home. The views of the Puget Sound are epic and there is ample space to enjoy a meal out of the patio. While a bit annoying at times, the auto locking front door provided us with a sense of security.
With the majestic views the westward facing house would get quite warm in the evening as the evening sun beat down on it, but a simple trip to the lower level where it was about 15° cooler made it totally fine.
If we ever need a place to stay in Tacoma again, this will be the first place we look for.

Room for improvement
For a home that is supposed to accomodate 10 e felt it was underfurnished. Only 5 chairs at the dining table. 5 places to sit in the living room. Downstairs shower didn't work. Closet door handle in master bedroom was falling off. Dishwasher is hard to start. King bed is a shin banger, low to the ground and difficult to get out of. Will not stay again.
This was a lovely property. Very clean and spacious. The view of Puget Sound couldn't have been better. We were given the alarm code before arriving but not told where the alarm box was inside the home. We found it eventually but not before the loud screeching alarm sounded. That information would have been helpful. The ones who slept downstairs said they were pretty cold but had plenty of blankets available. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely. It was deep and comfortable. The outside shower did not work. We couldn't find the welcome manual until we searched around a bit. If you don't like a lot of stairs, this place is not for you since it is split level. The kitchen was great and had most of the utensils and pans we needed. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed this place very much.

Bright and beautiful, clean, modern, full of amenities, and stunning views
We stayed at the Scenic Lake View home for Thanksgiving 2018 with 4 adults and 5 children and loved it. The house is spacious with enough rooms for quiet and privacy. Everything about the home feels modern and well-kept. There are 2 kitchens (the downstairs one does not have an oven), but we only needed the upstairs one to feed the 9 of us plus 5 family members who visited for Thanksgiving meal. The over-sized kitchen island was perfect for extra seating and conversation while cooking. Everyone loved the impressive hot tub which is in an amazing outdoor space with seating, showers, and roof. The backyard has plenty of deck space, lush green grass, and fully enclosed fence (our kids enjoyed playing there). The views from the dining, living, and one bedroom area are more stunning than I expected (mountains, lake, bridge). The bathrooms are impressive- heated floors, sky lights, electric toilets with bidets, fluffy new towels...
We especially appreciated the many extra amenities: toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and soap, plenty of bed linens and pillows, everything we needed for cooking and eating, etc.
Potential improvements: We would have appreciated being able to turn off the lights on the garage corner of the house (they are on a timer) to limit light coming into the upstairs queen bedroom at night. The drain cover in the upstairs queen bathroom is too low so that it drains slowly (pulling it gently up by hand fixes the problem).
Area: We loved walking to Titlow Park to stretch our legs, watch walruses from the beach, and let the kids climb at the playground. Pao's donuts and coffee is about 1/2 a mile away and delicious- I recommend buying extra donuts! There were multiple grocery stores to choose from at a convenient distance. I recommend Point Defiance for gentle hikes with gorgeous views as well as the zoo and very nice aquarium (kids and adults enjoyed these; competes with bigger cities for sure). The drive from SEA/TAC airport was 25 minutes without traffic but 60-75 minutes with traffic.
My favorite of all (~5) VRBO's I have stayed in around the country! Highly recommend
