The Crowe's Nest Cowpet Bay West

Welcome to paradise! The Crowe's Nest is a two bedroom/two bath condo located in the beautiful gated community of Cowpet Bay West on the East End of St. Thomas.
While guests at The Crowe's Nest, you will enjoy all St. Thomas and the USVI have to offer. Spectacular views await you on the condo's balcony where gentle trade winds ease your stateside stress. You are now on vacation!

The air-conditioned condo can accommodate up to six. The Ocean Side bedroom has a King Bed and adjoining bath. The Garden Side bedroom has a Queen Bed and Twin Daybed with trundle. It also has as an adjoining bath. Each bathroom has tub/shower combo. Linens and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need. The unit also has washer and dryer, outdoor grill, cable and internet. There is a library of DVD's and CD's as well as books and games for your enjoyment. TV's with built in DVD players are in each bedroom and the living room. If your party make up requires a porta crib or high chair, we have you covered. Nothing has been spared to make you feel right at home.

The beach and pool/hot tub are just a short walk away where there are lounge chairs for your use. Beach towels are provided in the condo along with coolers and beach toys. There are two restaurants located on the beach. Caribbean Fish Market is a more upscale dining experience. It is open for dinner 7 days a week and Sunday Brunch. Sangria's is casual and serves breakfast, lunch and early dinner. There is also the "Pool Bar" where tropical drinks and other libations can be sipped. You are bound to make new friends at the Pool Bar!
Water sports and activities are available through Margarita Tours located on the beach. It is fun to rent snorkel equipment, kayak or paddle board. Other off property excursions are available to book as well.

Cowpet Bay West is conveniently located to Red Hook (just a five-minute cab ride) where you can enjoy shopping, dining, nightlife, fishing and boating excursions. There is also a Food Market, Pharmacy and Medical Practice.
The Ferry to St John is in Red Hook. A 20-minute ferry ride will take you to another beautiful island of the USVI. Make sure you plan a day to explore St. John

The Ritz Carlton Property is a 5-minute walk from the complex and offers restaurants, shopping and spa. It's a great property to take your morning walk.

Our group of two couples really enjoyed our stay, especially the patio with beautiful views and comfortable patio furniture overlooking the bay. The unit had very comfortable beds and bedding in both bedrooms. The pool and beach were not as close as we’d hoped, however the pool area is very nice and worth the hike. The only issues we experienced during our stay were a brief power outage and the living room TV wouldn’t work when we wanted to watch a game one night. All in all we would stay again if returning to St. Thomas.

This property is perfect for any family. It is stocked with everything for a stress free vacation. Beach and pool accessories were a pleasant surprise. Our family went to many beaches on St. Thomas and St. John, the beach right outside this property was one of the best, great snorkeling and far fewer people than all the public beaches. Location was perfect as well, close to everything! Can’t say enough about Cowpet Bay!

Nice and clean, with lovely views from the balcony. Plenty of room for our family of five. Convenient location, close to restaurants and several beaches. Owners are responsive, check in was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony was worth the price alone. We spent a great deal of time on the balcony. Short walk down the stairs to a very nice beach and pool. Never had an issue finding chairs. Owners were great to work with with a very smooth check-in process. Washer/dryer in the unit which was very nice. Some parts are a little dated (appliances, shower) but everything worked great so no issues with any of it. Two minor points: 1. the grill was a mess, looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile; I was able to scrub it and use it; 2. while we don't watch much TV on our vacations, every once and awhile we will wind down with a show at night - TVs in the living room and bedrooms were very small and old. Again, both very minor issues and would definitely stay there again if we ever came back to St. Thomas

We had an amazing time during our stay at the condo. It is very spacious for a family of four and its proximity to beaches and restaurants was exactly what we were looking for during our two weeks vacation. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked from kitchen ( utensils, plates, mugs and etc) to beach and bath towels, beach chairs, beach toys and even island approved sunscreen. It also had convenient access to the pool and the beach which felt like a private beach. Simply amazing.

Family Vacation

Our family of 5 stayed at the end of December-beginning of January. We loved the condo! The location was excellent. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the nearby restaurants. The beds and bedding were great! It was wonderful to sit on the balcony in the morning and in the evening and enjoy the view! We would definitely stay here again!

Cowpet Bay is the nicest Bay to stay.

The Crowes Nest condo is perfect. Two very nice bedrooms with there own bathrooms. But the best part is the view! And the ease of access to the quiet Cowpet Bay that is not over crowed but still has two restaurants on the beach. Perfect place for a family with older teens.

Beautiful condo unit

Two adults and two children ages 3 and 1 were treated to this beautiful condo unit. The host quickly responded to all questions. They thoroughly appreciated the children’s toys, pack n play, and high chair. A rental car allowed off site visits to three different beaches. An amazing time by all!

We loved staying at the Crowe’s Nest! The condo was clean and well maintained. The setup of the two bedrooms was perfect for our group as one couple stayed in the master and the second bedroom had a double, single and trundle bed that accommodated our family of four. Lots of board games to choose from. There were also beach towels, pool noodles and beach chairs that we used every day. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and was very well organized. (The only gadget we needed was a lime juicer for cocktails.) The location was perfect as we could walk down to the pool, beach, and two restaurants. It was also close to red hook so we could easily get on the ferry to St. John. The hosts were wonderful - very responsive and gave us good recommendations for dinner. Overall, I highly recommend this property!

Part of me wanted to leave a bad review so we can book whenever we want, but this place is magical. After exploring other beaches on the island, we realized how good we had it at Cowpet. Red Hook had everything we needed and was a short 5 min drive. You won’t be disappointed staying here. Do it.

Excellent location and property. Pool is a goodwalk up and down stairs so be aware if you have issues with walking inclines. We loved it because good leg workout. Easy access to everything. Quiet, clean beautiful

First time USVI

Carol met us for check-in. Unit was very clean. It is well equipped for cooking in. The view of the water is fantastic and only a quick flight of stairs down to the beach. The pool and on-site dining are great. Only minutes into Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. We really enjoyed St. Thomas and St. John and it is definitely worth a return visit.

Beautiful View

We had such a special vacation in St. Thomas! The cleanliness and brightness of the house was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful view all day every day, and loved having dinner together on the balcony. The owners were extremely helpful, and the house is in close proximity to the grocery store, yacht club, beautiful beaches and great restaurants! We hope to return someday, and stay in the same house!

August Stay

Everything was great. This place was wonderful and we didn't want to leave. As others have mentioned there are a lot of steps to the beach but at the bottom there is a beach bar with all the frozen drinks you could want. The Crowe's nest was fully stocked and we used most of the beach gear all over the island. Cooked breakfast every day and kitchen had everything I needed. I'll definitely be back to St Thomas as soon as my savings account can handle it again!

Didn’t want to leave

We had a family of six, my parents, me and my husband, and my two young adult children. We all loved our stay. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. We were close to 2 grocery stores (5 and 10 minutes away ish), 5 minutes from the Red Hook ferry and town, and a short walk to a beautiful beach and swimming pool. Every morning, we would sit outside and enjoy the amazing view. Then walk down to the water, or take the ferry to St John to explore. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you’ll be grateful!
