1 bedroom 1 bath studio home built and decorated by us!
Only 10 minutes form Murray and 20 minutes from the lake. Great for a weekend stay or long term.
Enjoy the peaceful outdoors with a warm cup of coffee on our outdoor patio, watch the fireflies, or spend some downtime in our cozy but large studio style home with a nice reading nook and a large enough couch for 5 to relax. There's a king size bed in the bedroom, room for a guest or two to sleep on the couch and plenty of floor space to bring some blow up mattresses.
Our home is located in a nice neighborhood about 20 minutes from the lake and 10 from Murray, KY.
Our yard and home is very peaceful but it is not a cabin in the middle of nowhere, we do have neighbors. Our nearest neighbors are roughly 75 yards away but share a driveway.

Delightful property

I was visiting family in the area and this property was perfect. It was very clean and well equipped. The host was very responsive to inquiries. The location is exceptionally quiet which is so important to me as a light sleeper.The king bed was comfortable. The bedroom and living room are spacious. In a nutshell, it matches the pictures perfectly!I would definitely recommend this property.

Cute little but spacious cabin

We really enjoyed our short stay and would stay there again. We only had around 5 miles to the chiropractor, that was very nice.

Lovely spacious house

I came in for a family funeral and while the reason for my trip was sad, I’m very happy to have found a new home away from home for my future visits to Ky! The home was very clean, well equipped and super roomy. The kitchen and bath had everything you might need for a long term stay. I really loved the privacy and outdoor space. When I asked to extend my stay for an extra night, the host was very quick to respond. Will definitely look forward to staying here again.

Perfect Spot

This location perfectly suited out needs. Traveling with two dogs and needing to be in western kentucky. We plan to use it again when we are back in the area.

So few things are “as described” but this place is just that. Location is close to town, everything works as intended and it’s a no fuss experience. It’s our go to place when we visit Murray.

Excellent Choice!

Our son stayed here while visiting his girlfriend who attends Murray State. Communication with Host was excellent prior to arrival and during his stay. Son and his girlfriend both said property was clean, cozy and comfortable and the location was great. Definitely recommend and will stay here again on future visits!

Great value for the duration of our winter escape from the frigid temps of Southern Ontario.

The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with! The place has everything needed for a relaxing stay near a very friendly town with super friendly people. We are considering returning in the future! thx again!

Two couples and a dog

This spacious open floor plan cottage sits back off the road, next to a creek. The grounds are kept up, and the house is clean and tidy. The open floor plan is perfect for everyone to stay together, interact, and have lots of conversation. This was our fifth stay at this property, we really do enjoy it. conveniently located to lots of things around the lakes, not far from the marina or Patti’s, Just a few minutes from Murry. Dollar General just 1/2 mile away for those forgotten items. Looking forward to our next stay!

Ideal location for a stay in Murray, KY

What a lovely gem of a place to stay for a trip to Racersland or the Land Between the Lakes. It’s very close to Murray and lots of restaurants and just up the road is Kenlake. Lots of room for sitting and relaxing and an enormous and well appointed bedroom. The kitchen is sizable and well stocked. There’s even a little sitting area outside the door. Best of all it is truly quiet and peaceful. Hosts are uber friendly and helpful. This place is a winner!

Fantastic Cozy Cabin

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage this Father’s Day weekend. The accommodations were perfect for our needs and we were truly amazed at the amount of space! Traveling with a 17 y/o, an 11 y/o, my husband, myself, and our dog — we all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Even the teen was pleased! ;) The property is absolutely fantastic for location to Murray yet just outside of the town to enjoy the peace of the outdoors. This was my favorite part! We stopped in Murray to visit MSU and enjoyed all the great shops while there. We also went to LBL and enjoyed the outdoor recreation that it offers. My daughter and I also took a little drive to Nashville, TN one day—leaving the guys at home. Aside from the college visit and access to Kentucky Lake, I believe that was her favorite part of the trip! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Jonathan! Comfortable Modern Space

Simple from the outside with outdoor seating and a firepit. The rear of the property backs up to wooded area and a small creek. Once inside the Open floorplan gives the feeling of a spacious interior. This house looks and smells clean. Tv's in both the living space and the bedroom. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen for meal prep and just spreading out. Although we were gone most of the day exploring and taking part in lake activities this is a lovely house to come back to and unwind. This was our second stay at this property and I predict we will be back next year. We did bring our dog, there is no fenced space, but she minds well. The neighboring houses also had dogs but we did not have any trouble with them venturing too close. Everyone is very respectful of the boundaries. Looking forward to our next stay!

Was perfect for our needs

We gave this visit five stars, because overall it was just what we were looking for. We were a little disappointed in a few minor things such as the overgrown Landscaping, the queen size air mattress was not in working order, and we had to reach out to the property owner for check-in instructions the day of our visit. We did not reach out concerning the air mattress, as our guests ended up sleeping on the couch just fine. The queen-size air mattress has a hole and deflates. I awoke to find my 71 year old mother just inches from the floor. We had some rain during our visit and it was painfully loud when it would hit the AC window unit. Might suggest putting some type of gutter above the window unit to Route the rain away from it. The house is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. We loved the decor! Definitely plan to stay again! Thanks for the hospitality.

We are a married couple who take pride in the spaces we can provide for our guests. Jonathan built our studio a few years before we met on vacation in 2016. We worked together to remodel and decorate all of our properties to make them as comfortable and functional as possible so that our guests look forward to getting back to our home every night. We absolutely love to travel and we know having a space you can relax in and spend time with loved ones in is so important.

Why they chose this property

Our cozy studio has housed all kinds of guests! We've had small youth groups who needed a place that their 5 kids could all pallet party in the living room, we've had newly weds who wanted a nice relaxing honeymoon, small families looking for somewhere to stay with their toddler for a month while their home in Murray was being renovated, traveling nurses and bachelorette parties. We are proud of what all the space has been used for and we are welcome everyone.
