Terrific family place. A low tech, high relaxation resort. There are lots of choices as to where to stay. Like: cabins, cottages, motel like places, glamping suites and tiny homes.There's a clean pool and a real handy beach with a swimming hole on the lake. They have an excellent marina with rentals for whatever type of watercraft you like. Their restaurant serves delicious food and has great service. Oh, they even have washers and dryers included with your rental.Our cabin was perfect for our family of four. We rented a golf cart to get around. What a jewel this was. Things here are slow and easy. No hype, just smiles and peace all without any crowds. Well be back.

Thank you for your review. We have owned the resort for 9 years and we are working on getting everything updated. While some of our rentals are still in the works for renovations, we do offer more of an updated style cabins as can be seen on our website. Thank you for your input and we as always loved that our guest keeps pushing us to be the best!

lake cabin

we had a wonderful visit. everyone was very friendly and the resort had a good vibe. You could tell the couple that run this place, enjoy their job and made us feel welcome. When we arrived there was pork butts slow roasting in the smoker and a nice fire in the fire pit. They were catering to a group of hunters and showing them a good time. There is an old fashion Ice Cream making machine on the deck that we did not get to see in use, but will on our next visit. the photos of our cabin are accurate. We will be back

Relax and enjoy

Cabin was clean. Plenty of space in cabin and comfortable furniture. Was fully stocked. Beach area was clean and the sand was great. Pool was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was excellent.
