Great place close to downtown Cambria

The place was an excellent location to downtown, just can't walk due to it's location uphill. We absolutely enjoyed Julie's place. We will definitely come back.

A great place if you like peace and quiet

The property is very clean, well kept and feels comfortable. Also, the location is less than a 5 minute drive from restaurants and other services in Cambria and Route 1. The host was easy to communicate with and available if any issues came up. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, peaceful and quietest property we stayed at.

This was so peaceful and quiet. I only gave it 4 stars because in the description we thought we would have an area outside that was a little more private. We loved looking out the back of the property, the trees gave us so much privacy! Lovely welcoming hosts! Thank you!

Cozy pup-friendly Cabin

Wonderful property tucked away in the hills of Cambria. Very comfortable beds, plenty of space for my daughter to play and our GSD was right at home in the yard. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and anything I needed, Julie was very quick to help out. We would love to stay here again!

Daughters Birthday getaway

Perfect location for downtown cabria and 15 minutes away from Hearst castle and beach 5 minutes away down drive wise..We had such a relaxing weekend thank you Julie!!! Oooh her dog is adorable as well

Great Spot!

Great location in Cambria for our group of 4 adults and 2 dogs. Close to cafes. It was super nice to have an adjustable mattress for the bedroom and filtered water ready in the fridge. Our hosts were super responsive and accommodating.

Long weekend getaway

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. Queen bed and day bed were extremely comfortable. Note that extra bed in living room is an air mattress and worked well for a child, but may not work well for a large adult. Kitchenette could use a few more items to make it truly functional, but nothing missing we couldn’t live without. Host communicated well and was friendly and prompt to answer questions. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet peaceful place

The cottage was pretty much as described. Beautiful location, no problems finding it and checking in but I’m glad it wasn’t dark when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and everything was well-stocked. We did have a small ant problem briefly. The area is fenced so it was nice to be able to let the dogs out to sniff around and potty without a leash. Overall a nice stay with no major problems. (The bottle of wine was a nice touch - thank you)

Wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood!

We loved our stay here! The house was perfectly spacious- and accommodated everything from movie night, puzzles, and games, to our kids' online school and our remote work. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and a short walk down the hill to the stores to pick up take-out. Julie was so helpful, and we couldn't have asked for a better, safer place to stay for a few nights during COVID.

Cozy home in a nice serene Cambria neighborhood

The property was spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Lot of board games. Living room TV has issue connecting with internet which was a minor hassle as we do it watch lot of TV anyway. All 3 Bedrooms have a TV. Location was nice... we saw wild turkeys and deers right in front of the house. Also the house is a very short distance away from moonstone beach ... about 8 min drive time. The beach is very scenic with some interesting rock formations enticing enough for climbing. Overall we had a great stay at the property. Julie, the property owner, was very responsive and easy to reach on phone.

Great location and large house. House itself is pretty outdated and needs some upkeep. Sheets has stains, wholes in walls, pen marks on walls. The floors left our feet dirty (just like another reviewer had written). It was very hard to find any pots in the kitchen and could not find a single knife. Would recommend organizing the kitchen or bringing your own stuff.

Convenient for Booking one week before trip

We took a last minute trip for my adult daughters birthday ... We booked only one week out we appreciate availability... further away from the beach than we anticipated...and honestly felt it could have been a lil cleaner...floors were very dirty... My grandchildren socks and feet are very dirty just playing inside the first evening ...that was a lil disappointing... I felt the need to wash the dishes before we use them especially pots and pans...food left on them... I’m normally not this picky but when you pay a cleaning fee you expect it to be cleaner. Julie was very easy to work with and very kind- I just feel her cleaning service needs to be checked on .

Very comfortable stay

This studio was nicely located between East and West villages - a very short drive in either direction. A very quiet property situated back from the street in a quiet neighborhood. Julie was always very responsive to my questions when booking. We had a delightful stay.
