Welcoming, relaxing, quiet, romantic and serene are some of the descriptions used by couples and individuals who've made our hillside Garden Cottage their Cambria destination. You can enjoy an idyllic Cambria experience in this tranquil location surrounded by Monterey Pines and terraced gardens.

An all-wood interior with streaming light from two large window seats combine with a pyramid roof and skylights to enhance a simple yet elegant interior. You’ll enjoy a cozy gas fireplace, hardwood floors, table and chairs, and a comfortable couch in the main living room. An extended window seat overlooks the forested canyon. A second window seat offers equally tranquil views. WiFi ready, and no TV. Just off the living room and down three steps brings you to a cozy sleeping nook with a firm standard size DOUBLE bed with a skylight, stain glass windows and French door to a small garden deck. You’ll find everything you need in the bright terracotta tiled kitchen and wood/tiled floor bathroom with standard-size shower stall. Premium towels and bathrobes provided. Steps away from the cottage is the large garden deck where you can enjoy the private peaceful canyon, wildlife, and distant ocean. The deck is the perfect place for morning yoga, an afternoon glass of wine, and an evening canyon sunset.

You'll find this property unique because it offers an experience of tranquility, open space, privacy, nature views and quiet surroundings, all within walking distance to Cambria Pines Lodge, East Village shops, restaurants, and the Fiscalini Ranch trail head.

A wonderful cabin experience for a non-smoking couple or individual (suitable for adults, two person maximum) needing serene retreat space and a comfortable place to unwind after enjoying a day on the central coast.

We live on the property and enjoy sharing our hillside with mature, respectful adults who are looking for a quality experience in peaceful surroundings. If you plan on entertaining, enjoy loud music into the night or smoke, this is not the vacation rental to choose.

Maximum 2 adults (minimum age 25), pet-free environment, no smoking (inside or out), two night minimum, three night minimum during holidays (New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas). 3pm check-in, 11 am check-out. 5 days or less: $60 cleaning fee, 5 days is maximum stay permitted. County 12% occupancy tax applied.
Cancellations:
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund. No refund for early departure, inclement weather or anything outside our control.
$25 fee deducted from any refund due for echeck reversal (refund issued 31 days from echeck deposit date), $25 fee deducted from any refund due for personal check returned for any reason.
