Loved it here. I don’t think you can get any closer to the American eagle lift. Will do it again.

Great location in Copper Village
Best thing about the apartment was the proximity to the lift. Well appointed with most everything needed in kitchen.Carpet was worn and stained (understandable due to snow, etc, but should be cleaned or replaced). Also, the blankets in the closet were worn and probably not washed in quite some time. Property managers were friendly but the process for checking in and out was cumbersome; having to go to Frisco to pick up and drop off keys then backtrack is not customer friendly. Many places now have remote control of door locks - would recommended looking into that.
The unit is literally on top of the Center Village base. You would feel like you're the resort owner as you sit (or play foosball) in the spacious, fully enclosed balcony and watch the people ski down to base. It's a 1BR apartment with 2 small bathrooms but can indeed accommodate 7 people with 2 large sofa beds in the living room and one small sofa bed in the bedroom. The kitchen is small but well stocked. The host is super responsive. We found a few small issues on the first day (e.g. a broken toilet handle) and they sent someone to fix all the issues early on the second day.

Great value for what it is. Location, Location, Location
From the pictures, the property looks fairly updated. On closer inspection, it's a sort of a mixed bag.
The Property
Kitchen is all new. The master bath looked like a DIY re-model in there. Brand new vanity, new medicine cabinet, but the shower is still the same almond fiberglass and super tight. BUT, the fact that it HAD 2 bathrooms was a huge plus . While it is only a single bedroom, there were two pull-outs in the living room. We only pulled one out, the other was comfortable as a couch. Furniture is dated, but master bed was super comfortable.
Parking:
There are only about 12 super-tight car ports. I backed in a Nissan Pathfinder with 2" on either side of the mirrors. But, I never until departure.
Elevator:
Seems like a commonly reviewed item. It was working the day I arrived. From the car port, it opens literally into the front door of 203. Being on the first floor, it would actually be MORE convenient to take the stairs, but, to take the stairs (as we did when the elevator broke down), its not as straight forward as you would think. There is literally no signage for the stairs on our floor. You have to go through a door to get "outside", then back into one of the condo "cluster" doors (small foyer where 3 condo doors are), then through another door into the stairwell, then back out. By day 3 I think we finally got it figured out and then the elevator was fixed again.
Location.
One morning while everyone was sleeping, I wanted to grab some Starbucks. As I walked out of the complex I was staring right at the front door. We booked our rental gear from Rebel sports (also on property). They were SUPER accommodating. It is smaller than the Copper rentals, but I felt like we got personal service. Lastly...the gear locker was right at the edge of the bar-b-que place, which opened into the center area. You walked outside and were basically IN the line for the gondola. It was nice just to walk there, jump on the gondola for the first run (while its still cold), then after the first run, roll right into the regular lift line. It was also cool to watch everyone coming down the slope and then watch the groomers at night out the window.
If you are looking for reasons to nit-pick, they are there. But the location was tough to beat and for the money, its still a great value.
Great visit to Copper Mountain. Location was steps from American Eagle lift. Southern facing condo received full sun in the afternoon. Great kitchen and two clean bathrooms. Two queen pull outs and a twin pullout in the master bedroom supplemented the king size bed. Property management was accessible throughout stay.
Great location with awesome view of center village. Satisfying stay only complaint would be the carpet needs cleaning.

Copper Junction March 25
Great location, a bit outdated interior, no cable only netflix, great patio overlooking the slopes. Main problem is parking, it should say this in the description. There is not enough parking for all of the rental units and if you come on a somewhat busy week or weekend there is a 50% chance you will not have a parking place near your condo which would make loading and unloading difficult. I would recommend Copper One as a first choice, great parking, hot tub and sauna included, nicer building and similar price. If Copper One is booked then this place is next best choice for the price

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed the condo. We don't normally respond to 4 star reviews but wanted to reply to a couple incorrect items in this review. First, the property comes with basic cable, perhaps you just couldn't figure out how to work the television but a quick call to our office would have cleared it up. Second, there is free, overflow parking in the parking structure that sits right next to Copper Junction. I believe this was explained to you at check in. This information is also on the map/direction sheet that you received when you checked in. Thanks, John Forest, Bighorn Rentals

Very dirty and dated furnishings
Furnishings were stained and dirty and very out dated. Linings were dirty on arrival and all pillows were completely disgusting covered in brown stains. Had to use space heaters to stay warm. There were no available parking spaces when we arrived had to park in lot close by and pay. They really need to let future renters know that there may not be any parking at the building. Elevator only worked about half the time of our stay. Very disappointed in the quality of this unit for the cost to stay here. We have been to Copper multiple times and stayed in a lot of the other properties for less per night and much better quality. This unit needs a major update or a major price reduction. The view is the only thing we enjoyed about this unit.

We believe 99% of this really has to do with the parking issue. It is true that there are more units in the building than parking spots underneath. It hasn't been a big issue in general since spots usually come open pretty frequently but it was a BIG issue for these people. We offered these guests an option to park about 2 blocks away, then a spot came open in the building about an hour after they checked in. What they failed to mention in their review is that they brought a 15 passenger van that is hard to park not just here but anywhere. The other issue was price and all we can say is President's Weekend is not a good time to come if you're concerned about the price - a couple days later would have been less than half the price. This property is not luxury, but it is a nice place to stay and you can't beat the location. Thanks, John Forest, Bighorn Rentals
