Summer House 805B Vacation Rental
This condo is out pride and joy!! We have a kitchen remodel going on currently that will conclude 5/15/2024. The current pictures are of the old kitchen. New photos will be loaded as soon as the project is done. It will feature a completely new coastal kitchen and a custom built in W/D/bar extension to the kitchen. You will love it! We can't wait to update the pictures.
Summer House is 5 miles east of highway 59 and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The property is gated and has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, a sauna, hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball courts, putting green, handball, basketball court, playground, exercise room, free wi-fi, and grilling area.
One of the best features of this complex is the private, massive balcony that overlooks the Gulf and beautiful white sand. This unit has unrestricted beach views in both east and west directions. There is so much space that it will accommodate everyone with plenty of room to spare, and yet it’s cozy so that you and your loved one can enjoy the romantic sunsets. And you'll want to spend a lot of time out on the balcony because we've furnished it with soft, cushioned furniture. No cheap plastic or uncomfortable furniture here! There is access to the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom.
The living room features all newer furniture, a flat screen Smart TV.
The kitchen has been remodeled with new cabinets, countertops, appliances, custom stone backsplash, and is fully-stocked with everything you will need to cook any kind of meal. There is even a built-in ice maker so that you never run out of ice. And we have plenty of plasticware so that you can safely take your beverages/meals out on the balcony, down to the pool, or onto the beach without fear of breaking glass.
The master suite features a tiled floor, king-sized bed, upscale furniture and bedding, a flat screen Smart TV, and room-darkening curtains so that you can sleep in if you want to. The en-suite bathroom has all been updated beautifully. It now has a tiled, walk-in shower with glass doors, new vanity with quartz countertop, and new lighting.
One of the guest bedrooms features a queen-sized bed and the other guest room has two queen beds. Both rooms have high thread count, super soft sheets, tiled floors, ceiling fans, plantation shutters, flat screen TVs, and share the guest bathroom.
The unit also has a full-sized washer and dryer, clothes iron/ironing board, board games, books, kid dvds, and even a high chair, pack-n-play so you don’t need to bring it from home.
Please keep in mind that Summer House is one of the nicest complexes on the beach and has every amenity, is gated, extremely well maintained, and is beachfront. You will be able to find less expensive complexes, but they won't be the same.
PARKING: Parking passes for your stay can be purchased upon arrive at either the guard shack or the Summer House office across the street. You may purchase up to two passes at $51.50 each. If you have a third car in your group, they may park across the street free of charge. The guard can help you with these details.
REMODELING NOTICE: The kitchen and washer/dryer area are undergoing a complete remodel. We are doing away with the 90's brown and coming back with a Coastal Kitchen with all new appliances. The washer/dryer are is becoming an open area with additional counter space and cabinets. This is a major upgrade and pictures will be uploaded as soon as it is complete in May of 2024.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: The B building has undergone a complete exterior restoration which includes all new entry doors, windows and sliding glass doors for all the units.
POLICIES: Absolutely no renters under age 25. Absolutely no smoking in the unit. No pets of any kind are allowed.
DAMAGE POLICY: A damage policy is included in each rental which covers any damage during your stay. You will see it as a $59 line item on the reservation. This eliminates any need for a security deposit.
All rental fees are due 30 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 30 days of check-in date, all fees are due at time of reservation. Cancellations 30 days before arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival will be refunded 1/2 of rental amount, and no cancellations later than 7 days before arrival.

Why they chose this property
We have always loved the beach and grew up vacationing all around the Emerald Coast area from Gulf Shores to 30A to PCB. When we decided to invest we chose Orange Beach, Alabama because it had all the beauty without all the over commercialization. I love that when I look to the right I see beautiful white sand beaches. When I look to the left I see tall Southern pines with just the right amount of amenities tucked under those pines to make the perfect beach vacation.
