My wife and I had a great time. Our vacation was very relaxing. We just loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder and we had a doe and two fawns pass by they were so wonderful to see. Fishing was not very good.we had a wonderful time.
We have stay at this rental 4 out of the last 5 years. I can honestly say it is the nicest rental on the lake. Every year we enjoy it more and more. Hopefully we have many more years to enjoy it.
We have been going to this lake for 45 years. I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed. We have already booked it again for next year.

Thank you Scott, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having you back again next year.
My wife, mother in-law and 3 children ages 10,6 and 4 had a wonderful time at this cabin. We caught loads of fish off the dock, enjoyed fires next to the lake and went on long walks throughout the neighborhood. We used the kayaks and pedal boat every day. The beach area was great for the kids to play all day. The location in Danbury was great and we couldn't have been happier with the host. Great memories were made and so glad we booked this cabin.
We loved the property! The view of the lake is unbeatable! House is cozy and quaint! This is our second time here and I am coming back in August to stay again!!
This was our second time staying we had a wonderful time we loved watching hummingbirds, dear, geese the lake was great check-in was very easy this is such a peaceful place we can’t wait to come back thank you for letting us use your cabin sincerely Mike and Linda
Great stay. Cabin was bigger than we first thought. Games in lower level for evenings and rainy days. Tv's if needed, good wifi, mostly quiet lake (noisy on weekends). Close to water and easy access. Didn't use kayaks, but 2 available. Paddle boat was nice and worked well. Loon calls off the lake were amazing. A wonderful North woods stay.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Andersen and Monica Atneosen
We want to give you a little history of our beautiful place. In 1984 our parents, Ken and Kathleen Andersen, purchased the land with a small old trailer and a garage sitting on the property. In 1985 they had the trailer removed and began construction of the current home. The framework was completed by a contractor and the masonry was completed by Kathleen’s uncle, Wally Stehr. The rest of the work was entirely completed by our dad Ken and he put the finishing touches on in about 1991. In 1993 they retired at age 59 and moved from St. Paul to this lovely home and lived year round in Danbury permanently. They enjoyed many years of fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, church events, family gatherings, boating, crossword puzzles, sleep overs with grandchildren, gardening, reading and many others. Unfortunately in March of 2007 Kathleen passed away, just six months shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. Ken stayed here and enjoyed ten more years without his bride until his passing in 2017. We want to also give you a little history on the life of Ken and Kathleen prior to all this. They met at Humboldt high school in St. Paul. In 1953 Ken signed on as a left handed pitcher for the New York Giants minor league team while Kathleen was attending nursing school at St. Kate’s. In 1957 they were married. The details of all Ken’s baseball adventures are in the pages of a book at the cabin. Ken and Kathleen had five children. Steve, Sheila, Sarah, Mark and Monica. After Ken’s passing Mark and Monica and our families decided to own the cabin together and keep the property in the family. Thus creating KandK Properties in honor of our parents whom we deeply loved and are forever grateful for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy Danbury as we hope you will. In order to do this we rent it out part of the time. Please take gentle care of our cabin and have a wonderful stay here! Sincerely, Mark and Michelle Andersen Jeff and Monica Atneosen
