Spectacular Mountain Views- Newly Renovated!!

Located high above Tucson in the exclusive Starr Pass Resort community, this newly renovated deluxe Casita offers access to this spectacular desert and mountain playground. You will be steps away from the renowned Arnold Palmer course at Starr Pass. Several on-site restaurants give you the choice of whether to cook or dine out.

Please note that we have no association with the JW Mariott resort. This booking does NOT include any access to the golf club pool. Day passes may be available for a fee. If you read about a fenced pool, that is not accurate.

This casita is an attached town home on one level. It has been renovated with new furniture, floors, paint, bedding, TV's, towels,

You are within 10 minutes walking distance to the 5-Star J.W. Mariott Resort where you may take advantage of their Spa (fee), shops, and Restaurants. The Signature Grill provides a daily breakfast buffet that is the best in Arizona. Foods from Italy can be sampled at the renowned Primo restaurant.

The Casita features two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, living/dining room, and a patio. Views are of the Catalina Mountains and Mt. Lemmon. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, smart TV, desk, large master bath with separate shower/tub and his/her sinks. The guest bedroom has two queen sized beds, Mini-Fridge, Microwave, sink, and separate entrance.

The fully equipped kitchen will delight even serious chefs with gas stove, ample food prep area, microwave, and a larger-than-average supply of cooking utensils and dishware. Extras include a deluxe juicer and several coffee makers including a coffee grinder. You may even choose to eat at the counter while seated in the Mexican style bar chairs.

The living/dining room area features comfy chairs, fireplace, high beamed ceiling, 36 in smart TV, sofa, and Dining table for 6. Basic Cable TV

The Casita complex borders scenic Tucson Mountain Park. You are only a couple miles from Suguaro National Park West and it's Desert Museum. Short drives will take you to Mt. Kitt Observatory, Tubac's art and furniture shops, Tucson's Historic 4th Street, the University of Arizona, Kirchner Caverns and Collossal Cave,

Our cleaners wear masks and gloves at all times. They disinfect all high-touch surfaces, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen. Soaps provided for your use are anti-bacterial. Finally, we will make every effort to have the Casita sit empty for a day between each rental.

Starr Pass is truly a treasure that you should experience. It is a serene setting but offers active persons a wealth of opportunities. You can enjoy the City Lights by night and the great outdoors during the day.

Great location and gorgeous view

This condo was a perfect location - just steps from the golf course and restaurant. The property was very clean and spacious with beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains.

What a great place! Beautiful area, golfing, nice restaurant and pool. Deer come up on the back patio. Good location to Desert Museum and trails! Definitely Recommend!!

Located just minutes from downtown Tucson, this two-bedroom condo proved to be enjoyable. Full access to the amenities, including the pool and gym were a bonus, especially when outside temps reached the mid- to high-90s. Would recommend this property.

We loved our stay.

We just loved the casita. Great location and fabulous wildlife/bird watching from our patio. Private and quiet. We stayed 2 months and enjoyed every day. We had 4 groups of family come for a week apiece. They all enjoyed it. Thanks to Dave - we would like to come again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property.

The location was ideal for hiking. Great trails minutes away. Beautiful Mountain Views. The place could use some updating, but I feel the price was a good value. I think the fees on VRBO are too high.

Wildlife

A little down at the heel but nevertheless comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the flagstone patio where we saw a large variety of birds and animals. The location was convenient and we enjoyed the pool and a meal at the resort. A successful stay!

Great Views!

The property matched the listing and more. Very well decorated with views of the Catalina Mountains from patio...enjoyed the changes in lighting from morning to night! Did not use pool but looked very inviting. We will return and can recommend this property.

Wonderful location

Javalinas, mule deer, hummingbirds, Gambel's quail abound. Was visited by all within yards of patio. Bed very comfortable. Location within a developed area but felt very private. Highly recommend. Host was wonderfully understanding when we had a family ER and had to leave early. Hoping we can stay again soon. Recommend!

This unit totally fit all our needs! Beautiful scenery out the back door! Wildlife galore! Enjoyed the easy access to golfing, biking and hiking--and the pool! Everything we needed to make ourselves at home there! Grocery stores and eating places close by! Can't wait to go back next year! We have two little dogs, who enjoyed the sidewalks for their walks, and they also found themselves at home! Thanks to the Owner for all he did for us during our stay!

Have stayed here the last 2 yrs, and have already booked for 2020! Excellent location for all activities-golf, biking, hiking, and just hanging out. Enjoy the birds that fly in--even named a frequent hummingbird-Herbert! Fun to watch! Have seen all sorts of wild life nearby-deer, falcons, bob cat, javalina's, coyote, and the bright red cardinals! Very relaxing, our two little dogs enjoy the walk through complex, and so do we. Close to shopping and local eating establishments. Found it easy to access other areas of Tucson, and good access to highway.

New Renovations Add to Comfort

Newly repainted, newly installed flooring and new living area furniture make this a comfortable place. This is an older unit, so expectations of the latest home design will not be met. However, there is plenty of space in both bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen, even if it is not the most up-to-date design. We all enjoyed this unit and we would readily stay here again.

golf suites at Starr Pass

Over the last two years, we have stayed in 4 different 2 bedroom, 2 bath casitas and this one was our second favorite. Everything except the TV in the king bed bedroom was in good working order. We would like to have more comfortable beds and nicer bedding. The owner was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again and enjoyed our stay overall.

Starr Pass Resort Golf Casita

Starr Pass Resort is a beautiful property, quiet, with beautiful dessert scenery and mountain vistas. JW Marriott and golf courses are wonderful. The Tucson area has beautiful scenery, parks, hiking and restaurant opportunities. As other reviewers have mentioned this property “needs some love”. (Carpeting, bed linens and kitchen appliances need replacing). The owner was responsive to our concerns.

As Boston natives we loved to escape to Starr Pass. Over the years we spent more and more time there and now call Tucson our home. We love cycling, Southwestern food, horses, and the 350 days of sunshine that Arizona offers.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of it's incredible location in the Tucson Mountains, with access to amazing trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The proximity of the JW Mariott sealed the deal with it's many restaurants, bars, and a Starbucks. We start most days out on the trails, afternoons at the pool, and evenings with friends at an incredible selection of restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Starr Pass' location is unique from the standpoint that we are 15 minutes from the airport and only 4 miles to downtown Tucson....all while sitting in the Tucson Mountains, surrounded by green golf courses and spectacular views.
