Grande Bay LOVE CITY PENTHOUSE 2 bed/1 bath AMAZING VIEW! Beachfront Resort

This is a two bedroom condo with one full bathroom (bathroom is in hallway for easy sharing). This unit is great for families, two couples...or any group of 4!! You will enjoy panoramic views of Cruz Bay, Caneel Hill and the outlying VI islands.

***please note we replaced all our bedroom furniture in March 2025, new photos coming soon***

This two bedroom, one bathroom, penthouse features a large balcony for you to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on while taking in the view. From here, take a short walk in to town to your choice of over a dozen outstanding restaurants, or decide too eat in on the balcony bar with some of the best views in town (we think!!). The living room in this unit, is just past the galley kitchen that features accordion doors that beautifully open up to create an open-air living room area. The full galley kitchen, while it is small, (exactly as pictured) it includes a full size stove, new refrigerator and dishwasher (microwave, coffee maker, blender & toaster as well). There is also a grill to use outside on the balcony. You can always have the unit fully stocked with your favorite food and drinks prior to your arrival.

This penthouse has two king size bedrooms, each with their own TV and cable in the room. The front bedroom opens up to your large balcony.

This unit is a unique design to Grande Bay, each room is pictured exactly how it is. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions on any of the rooms in the unit.

This unit also comes equipped with a reserved parking space to make it easier to spend your days on one of the islands’ 17 beaches, and explore everything the island has to offer. Not renting a jeep, no problem! A short walk to the ferry dock and center of Cruz Bay is always filled with friendly, accommodating local taxi drivers who are always ready to take you where you want to be.

Grande Bay is a great location close to all of the action, and easy walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shopping.

The penthouse offers full access to the tranquil pool and sun deck, as well as the air conditioned fitness center.

Take advantage of the many services that can be provided for you to enhance your love city experience whether is be a sunset sail, a day boat charter to the BVIs via Sonic Charters boast the best captains in the VI, and in-room massage. Do not hesitate to ask about all that can be at your fingertips!

We absolutely loved our experience in St. John! The property was perfect for walking everywhere and had ample space for two adults and two teenage boys. Very clean unit! The only bummer was that they were remodeling the fitness area at the time but things like that happen so it was okay! In would definitely recommend this unit and the owner was great to work with!

Great view overlooking Cruz Bay. PH views were amazing. Was great to sit back and enjoy coffee every morning. Unit was clean, and a Parking spot for our Jeep. Grande Bay staff was wonderful as ever. Only challenge was there is only one Bathroom, but we were aware prior to booking. We love Grande Bay and thank you for having us.

Wonderful vacation!

Perfect location for our St. John vacation. Easy check-in, clean and the view is spectacular! The pool was refreshing after spending the day at the beach. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with our recent stay. Our two bedroom unit was beautiful, well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. Cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time.

Great property

We stayed in the unit for one week with my 9 and 11 year old. There was plenty of space for a family of 4. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit as we were at the beach or on excursions during most of the day, but it was nice to relax with the view each evening. We loved the location - super easy to walk into town for dinner each night. Kids liked taking a dip in the pool each day. We would definitely stay again!

Our second time staying at this PH suite. Was perfect for a family of 4. We loved the location, the set up and watching a movie at night with the large doors open. Communication was easy and we rented the blue jeep. It was an amazing stay

Great Location

We stayed at the Love City Penthouse with another couple and loved it. Location can't be beat as it is an easy walk along the beach front to the ferry and the rest of Cruz Bay. The unit came with a parking spot for our Jeep so easy in/out. The owner thoughtfully left us 3 bags of ice, which was great as we had forgotten Ice in our provisions. They had 4 nice beach chairs and a good size cooler to trips to the beach. The view from the top floor is spectacular. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Christmas trip

We decided to take a family trip instead of giving gifts this year, and this property really helped us to enjoy the season. It was clean, well stocked and a fabulous location. We especially appreciated the parking spot for our jeep rental and having a washer/dryer onsite. Everyone was very friendly at the front desk. The balcony was our favorite spot to sit for breakfast and relaxing after dinner. Definitely hoping to have the chance to return one day soon!!

There were four of us traveling on a girls trip. The location was great. Close to the ferry and downtown Cruz Bay. Views from our balcony were great. The house was well stocked with beach chairs and household items. We had a great time.

Great honeymoon

We came down to get married at Trunk Bay. We were so happy with our place. It was so very easy to walk around Cruz Bay. The balcony had an amazing view. The beds were so very comfortable ash’s the bathroom size was perfect! We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely week on st john

We had a great week. Would visit again! Condo is in great location. Like being able to walk to Cruz bay restaurants. Super view from the patio. Nice pool. Love having beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and free ice machine to use for our trips to the beaches.

Wonderful overall experience!

The unit itself was perfect and as advertised. It is a great size and a rare two bedroom which is nice. The views are second to none. Grande Bay itself is so conscience to Cruz Bay and makes it easy to really get around even if you decide to not rent a car. Working with the owner and management company was easy as always and we would highly recommend staying there!

Upon arrival the A/C was pouring water as you entered. It was late so nothing could be done. The TV in the bedroom never worked- management was informed and could not fix the problem. The view was nice

Fabulous Penthouse at Grande Bay

I have stayed in Grande Bay over a dozen times and this unit is really special - great location, great parking space. Extremely communicative owner - I would have absolutely no issue renting from them again. Beautiful outdoor space - great beach chairs and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in a VRBO before! Two bedrooms - separated enough for privacy - efficient kitchen and well equipped bath - We LOVE Grande Bay and this unique unit is great for 2 people or two couples who plan on exploring the island of St John!

Great location!

There were 4 people in our group. We stayed in the penthouse which had a beautiful view of the harbor. The condo had 2 bedrooms and had a large deck, which we used frequently. We were within walking distance to multiple restaurants and across the street from the beach. The management company was very responsive to any questions that we had regarding the condo, restaurants, car rentals and anything else that we needed to know about STJ. Great location! We would definitely stay at the Grand Bay again!

Outstanding in every aspect!

Stayed with wife and 16 y.o. son for six days. The condo was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and well suited to our stay. Whole process incredibly smooth. Great complex, notably the fitness center and pool. Location unbeatable--walk to everything in Cruz Bay without difficulty. Only very slight drawback was the grill is an electric George Foreman griddle, which is a little limiting.

The MOST amazing trip ever!

I cannot speak highly enough for this listing! The location and the communication were both superb. Any questions I had before we arrived were answered promptly, we were assisted to the location by the very friendly property manager as soon as our ferry arrived, and the unit itself was a dream. It literally contained every amenity we could have ever needed. We look forward to coming back to this exact listing in the future!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property to continue bringing ourselves, our kids, friends and family to the island. We love the USVIs and BVIs...it has always felt like home to us. We cannot say enough about not only the beauty and serenity St. John oozes, but of the FUN that we have. The people are as beautiful as the views, and, we rent our property with the motivation to bring you, your family, and friends that same love and fun.

What makes this property unique

We would argue that some of the best views in Grande Bay are from the upper left units in building 4. These units provide unobstructed views clear from any power lines and provide panoramic views of both St. Thomas and Cruz Bay. The balcony is awesome and we would say this unit is the one of the best places to take in the view :)
