About this property

Vintage Montana Lakefront Cabin Retreat - Enjoy "Big Sky Country" on the water!

This is a vintage 1960's Montana cabin renovated to include many modern day conveniences without losing the rustic charm of days gone by. The property has its own boat launch and a nice large floating dock allowing easy access to the water, a place to tie up and a place for boats and other watercraft to drop off or pick up guests. The water is as pristine as it gets and offers a gradual slope to allow for kids to play or catch crawdads. The pictures do this property a much better service than this description. Please let me know if you have any questions.

About the host

My wife Courtney and I (Jon) moved back to Montana with our three kids when I retired from the military in 2014. When we had the chance to purchase the family cabin from Courtney's parents and keep it in the family we didn't hesitate. It's truly our love to spend time here and we hope you do too.

Why they chose this property

Although we just purchased this cabin in 2017 it has been in the family since the 70's when it was purchased from a local physician (Dr. Keller) by Courtney's grandparents. We took great care when we renovated it to keep the original character and the small touches that will always remind us all the great memories. We truly hope you enjoy the vintage feel and seclusion that our cabin provides.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing better than being on the water and having that first cup of coffee on the deck in the morning as you breath in the fresh mountain Montana air.
