You’ll think you’ve scored a touchdown when you enter this beautiful beachfront condo in Pointe West! "THE EXTRA POINTE" features three bedrooms & two full bathrooms. This vacation residence is the perfect place for your family to enjoy a beach vacation. It is located on the second level which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful, unobstructed beach view from the bright & open living/dining space & large balcony.
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

This condo offers: a king bed in the master with a walk-in closet large enough to set up a pack-n-play, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with 2 twin-over-full bunk beds, making this condo ideal for couples or families with children vacationing together. You will find a pack-n-play (without bedding), a high chair, child gate/playpen, and a baby bathtub in the master closet for your use. Sleeps 9 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated, Fully equipped kitchen, Everything you need for a great vacation!

The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional.
Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. *Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of:
• Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
• Hot tubs
• Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room
• Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year.
• The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM.
Please note: The resort fee is nonrefundable, so we recommend waiting until closer to your arrival before purchasing.

Important: We manage the rental home only. We do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, the restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds and/or cancellations are not given for any closures they may experience.

•     Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check in and after check with wristband purchase.
•     All condos are accessible by stairs or elevator. If elevators are out of service, stair access will be required.
No refunds or alternative accommodations are provided for elevator outages.
•     Minimum age requirement: 26+
•     No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

July 4th Get away

Place was comfortable for large extended family. Short walk across pier to the beach or up to the clubhouse and pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable trip!!!

The condo was great! Some work to be done with the restaurant services but there is nothing that the condo owner can do about that. If you are coming down plan ahead to take advantage of the wonderfully stocked kitchen. Will stay again for sure!

This was the perfect place to go to escape from reality. Private beach, and awesome pool and bar!

We will definitely be checking this place out again. Super clean, and close access to the beach. This was the perfect getaway for our family. Not too far, and it felt like we were at some tropical place. Definitely recomend this place if you’re wanting to have a safe and distanced vacation. Super cute condo with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and nicely kept.

Great beach property!

We stayed at this same beach property with our 5 grandkids last year and it works so well for us - bunk room for the boys and bedroom for the girls. We love the porch and view of the beach. Pointe West is wonderful to work with and the Beach Club pool is beautiful! We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was still closed and there was no food or drink service but we understand that these things happen. We look forward to coming again!!

Wonderful mini-beach vacation!

Mini-beach vacation with our 5 grandkids ranging from 7 - 15. We had such a good time - the condo was beautiful, well organized and spotlessly clean. There was lots of closet and dresser space, big pantry which helped contain the chaos. Kitchen was well stocked. The property is beautiful, communication with Pointe West was outstanding, staff were all so nice and the pool and club service were really nice. Really happy with our whole experience and we can’t wait to come back!! Just wish we’d had a couple more days!

The Extra Pointe is the perfect beach getaway.

This property is absolutely great. It’s very clean and beautifully furnished and maintained. It’s situated on the end of the island so both the ocean and bay are an easy walk away. The deck looks out to the ocean and beach, the same view from the living and dining area. The layout offered privacy for all bedrooms. Any amenities one could need were provided. It’s beautifully furnished with a well supplied kitchen. Customer service was superb. I definitely recommend this property and cannot wait to go back myself! Perfect little beach getaway!

Wonderful Time Away

This beach condo was beautiful! We celebrated our son's 21st birthday there in May. It was a very special family time together. The view is magnificent from the balcony. The breeze was amazing. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and pool. We enjoyed grilling on the porch too. I was very concerned that we stay in a clean place with the pandemic etc. I felt very confident with our choice. It was immaculate!! We would love to come back again and have already told other friends and family about our awesome stay!!

Gulf Coast Beauty

This property was wonderful and the property manager was terrific to work with. It's a bit too far from Galveston to do many touristy activities there. Since the resort doesn't actually open up until early March, we didn't have access many of their amenities. We had to vacate our condo early due to the historic winter storm. We were very disappointed.

Thank you for your review. We are about 16 miles out from the "tourist area" of Galveston and most guests seek our community for an "escape". During the winter it is very serene and perfect for long beach walks and lazy days. We are just as saddened that this historic and unexpected storm shortened your vacation and caused so much damage for those all over our great state of Texas. Guest safety and comfort is always first and foremost at Pointe West Vacation and without power or water for several days we were unable to allow you to finish your stay. We do hope you visit again. Clean yet cramped....

The past two 3 -4 years we stayed at the Holiday Inn Signature Villas....much more spacious. The Extra Pointe was clean yet just too small for 8 people! The pictures and amenities were made to look so much larger than they were on line. One bedroom had no closet nor did it even have a rack for hanging clothes!

Beautiful Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful week at the beach in Galveston at our Extra Pointe stay in the Pointe West resort. The condo was the perfect size for three groups of adults and one toddler, because we all had rooms and places to sit at both the dining table and in the living room. The kitchen and grill amenities made our daily seafood meals a breeze, and the washer and dryer helped with our outdoor activities. I wish we had been able to use the resort amenities more, but so it goes when you take advantage of the off season. One person in our group used the gym routinely, and we enjoyed the hot tub for stargazing. We highly recommend this property! Communication was fast and responsive, and the location couldn’t be beat for having natural views halfway between the Brazoria Wildlife Preserve and downtown Galveston—the best of both worlds.

Beautiful and very clean. Owner/Management VERY responsive and helpful. It turned out to be just 3 of us. Very relaxing. We had very heavy fog but still enjoyed the weekend at the Beach. Everything we needed was there. The only thing I advise is anyone renting that may have mobility issues needs to be aware that neither bathroom has the grab bars in walk in shower or guest bathroom. You may want to bring a shower chair for the large walk in shower.

Great Condo

This is a nice place to stay close to the beach. This is 20 miles west of Galveston main tourist part so be aware. The condo is pretty much as described. A few items that I would suggest for the owners to improved on. The master bed was hard as a rock did not get good rest. The balcony door sticks hard probably due to the environment.My biggest complaint is the parking, its tight and person staying at 303 drove an suv that park over the line and my van could not fit. this is because of the pillars that support the building are tight. I believe i was only able to park there twice on a seven day stay. The pools are great the heated one is across the street not convenient but its there. Golf carts they need assigned parking when I was not able to get into my assigned parking I had to go another parking section walk back to my condo because all of the car spaces where taken by golf carts. I would probably stay here again.

Condo was Amazing-property and club not so much

The Extra Pointe was AMAZING! Very clean, beautiful view of the gulf, and had everything we needed for our family. I especially loved all the kid touches, like having a high chair and pack and play available. However, I was incredibly disappointed in the condition of the property. The elevator went down in our building right after we arrived. This was problematic and scary as my mom is handicapped. It had also been out the week before but had been repaired. When we arrived there were signs on the elevator saying not to hold the doors open or it would stop working. The following day we went to visit the main pool only to find that that elevator was also broken. When we complained to the front desk they were only concerned with whether we had the right color wrist bands for the pool. They did not offer any sympathy for the fact that 2 of their elevators were broken making this trip very difficult for my mom. The customer service was awful. I was pleased with our condo and the beach was beautiful but i doubt I’ll ever stay here again due to the lack of maintenance and service on this property. For what residents pay, it should be top notch and it definitely was not.

The owners provide many extra touches for families, making it a easy and fun family vacation. We have spoken at length with the community manager of Pointe West concerning the poor customer service of the Beach Club and your general feedback on the property. Unfortunately, mechanical occurrences do happen that our out of our control (really anyone's control) such as the elevators. The community manager does address repairs as quickly as possible with licensed repair companies. In your case an electrical component had to be overnighted for the elevator repair company to complete their job.
