Shores N Sunsets, beautiful Pointe West Galveston Bay & Beaches

This beautiful condo was built in 2006 and features 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus a sleeper sofa located at the far west end of Galveston Island in the Point West resort.
This condo unit offers views of both the bay and the Gulf from its 2 balconies.
It is equipped with TVs in both living areas and all 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, glass top stove, coffeemaker, air fryer, with plenty of room for all of your family and friends. and blender for those necessary margaritas. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk in shower and soaking tub. It also has access to the balcony. Room 2 has a queen size and private bath. Room 3 has a bunk bed and a couch/daybed with a trundle, which is perfect for the kids while entertaining themselves with video games.

The Point West Resort is one of Galveston's premier vacation properties featuring an infinity pool, lazy river pool, spa room, workout facilities, hot tub, gift shop, and restaurant which will open in March with 3 1/2 miles of beaches. There is a one time $ 25 per person fee for wristbands for access to the Pointe West Resort facilities.

Wonderful Long Weekend

Spent a wonderful three day stay in Galveston. The property was lovely. All the amenities for a comfortable stay was provided. The unit was spotless (I mean you could eat off the floor). The clubhouse was beautiful and all the staff were friendly. I strongly recommend this property.

Great location and accomodations

We stayed for a long weekend with the kids and grandparents. Total of 6. The house was clean, a lot of room for everyone. The ammenities of the place were close by, 5 minute drive. Pool was fun for the kids and very spacious with beach access. Although the neighbors upstairs were a little loud, everything else was perfect.

Great Stay

The host was very responsive to questions we had before we arrived. Condo was very clean and had all of the amenities that were listed. We hope to return. Full disclosure, parking was a bit tight on a holiday weekend (Easter). Though we had a designated parking spot, the extra parking filled up quickly. The location is across the street a short way from the main club/bar but close to the small lazy river. With that, we still hope to return. GREAT STAY!!!

I’ve never rented a condo so well stocked before. Everything worked well, plenty of pots and pans, extra blankets and pillows. Very nice views. We stayed 7 nights just to get away and relax. I read three books, did 2 of their jigsaw puzzles (both missing some pieces), and watched movies. I’d definitely rent this one again!

My family and I were in love with the place the moment we stepped inside. It was immaculate and spacious. The balcony was huge and the kids enjoyed it. The Host was very sweet and welcoming. 3 Generation's Vacation

We were a family of 10 and had plenty of room. Our host was fabulous to deal with. The condo is just as pictured. Very clean and well stocked with amenities. We came to Galveston after the hurricane. We had no issues except for Mother Nature. It rained daily but that didn't stop us from enjoying all that Pointe West and this condo had to offer.

Loved our stay!

Our stay was fantastic! The condo was fantastic! Everything in the condo was perfect and beautiful! We loved the large deck with a relaxing view of the bay! The only negative was the crazy elevator. It didn’t work from the ground floor, but did work from the other floors. My husband figured a way around it for me. I’m unable to do stairs right now so don’t know what I would have done if he had not figured it out. But everything else was beautiful and clean. A great place to stay!

Amazing Weekend

Our family had an amazing time staying at this condo. There were 10 of us and we were not at all crowded. Everything we needed was provided and the place was super clean upon arrival. We had lots of fun at the pools, the beach and just relaxing on the spacious balcony. We will definately be going back!

Great place with a few issues

The place was perfect for our family. Kids enjoyed the amenities and the dogs enjoyed the beach. We had a problem with the fire alarm going off 3 times, 3:30 in the morning our first night and on another night it went off at 12:30 and 6:30 in the morning. No large serving bowls and the hallway bathtub was clogging up and was not told until 2 days before we were leaving. I bought a straw brush to clean the drain to clear up the issue. The K-cup coffee maker water did not stop flowing. It had to be watched and stopped or the cup would overflow. Other than the four items, I would stay again and let the owners know about the issues before arrival. It should be noted that the stores are very far away and to plan to do a big shop before getting to the unit. Oh, there were no spices other than salt and pepper which I found weird.

Lovely Porch Views, Pleasant Neighborhood

There is only one guaranteed parking space for each condo, and only five or six spaces for two buildings of condos. The property is well-equipped with lovely furniture, everything you could need for lounging and watching lots of tv if that's your thing. There is a great bar-height table with a lazy Susan, perfect for games and family dinners. There are plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, but not one single mixing bowl or any lid containers for leftovers, bring your own! The towels are hotel quality. We did not use the bay side, too many mosquitoes, but the parking lot across the highway and well-made boardwalk made getting to the beach easy. Very private beach! There were hardly any people there our four days in the middle of July. It's a good 30 minute drive due to slow speeds to get into Galveston to shop or eat. The neighborhood has perfect roads for jogging and biking.
