About the host
Hosted by Jess Angel
I'm Jess... wife, mom, business owner, website developer, wine connoisseur (self proclaimed), photographer and traveler! I love to meet new people, see new places, stay in unique hotels/inns/homes and learn about different ways of life. This world has so much diversity; it would be a disservice to not experience as much as possible. I live for the experiences in life and wish to provide experiences to others as well.
I love hosting guests. There is nothing better than to be able to provide a safe, comfortable and fun place for people with the same interest in travel. I couldn't be more passionate about opening our doors, and piece of history, to everyone.

Why they chose this property
Beaufort has become our favorite place on the planet. We love the salt air, beautiful streets, friendly people, food... the list goes on and on. The Windsor House is what locals described as "cute as a button". It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location is absolutely perfect. We can walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Anything and everything is just a short trip... Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and all the Crystal Coast has to offer. All the neighbors, locals and visitors, greet you with a smile. The cottage was built in 1886, with hardwood floors and that old world charm, but modern conveniences have been added to make life at the Windsor House just about perfect.
What makes this property unique
The front porch has a swing and rocking chairs, perfect for evenings of unwinding while sipping a drink and taking in the beauty and breezes. You can walk to the waterfront in 5 minutes. The 140 year old house was built by a Fishing Captain in the historic district of Beaufort.
