Laid Back -

Laid Back is a classic Grayton Beach home, located in the heart of Grayton Beach and easy walking distance (one minute walk) to the renowned Red Bar restaurant, as well as other dining/shopping amenities nearby. This spacious 5 bedroom/4 bath home sleeps 18 guests with 3 kings, 2 queens, 2 sets of twin/full bunks, plus a queen sofa sleeper.

Laid Back is stocked with an exceptional collection of movies, great books, video games for the kids, and a very unique collection of music. There’s sophisticated original artwork throughout the home, a dedicated computer DSL line upstairs and downstairs, plus WiFi throughout the house. Exterior steps in front and back, along with a spiral staircase inside, connect upstairs to the downstairs. French doors open from both bedrooms and the activity room downstairs to the 28' x 14' pool (with option to heat in off season at additional cost of $300.00 a week). Grill on the second floor deck with beach views. Pool gate opens directly to a 50' public walkway over the dunes to the beach! Parking for 2 to 3 vehicles.

Had a wonderful time after we finally worked out problems with checking in. 20 minutes late checking in because they weren’t finished cleaning the house then several wasps around the house. Our granddaughter was stung. Called and they immediately came and sprayed. We had to spray again two other times. Pool was full of sand. They didn’t clean it until Friday. Besides those few problems it was fantastic!!

House Great; Outdoor Space Not so Great

Really enjoyed the house. Nice bedrooms with TV's. Very spacious and clean. This would be great for young people who don't mind stairs. Parking is an issue, as there really aren't enough places to park. My car got infested with ants in the sandy parking area. I am bug phobic, so the outdoor space didn't work for me. The pool chairs were covered with spider webs. At night, the large cockroaches were crawling all over and down to the edge of the pool. It was awful and possibly out of the control of the management or owners. This is just a moist area with lots of trees and bushes that lends itself to the accumulation of bugs. After seeing big bugs outside at night, I was unable to enjoy night activities outside. Walk to the Red Bar and the beach - easy. Nice stay other than the pests. If you don't mind bugs outside, you would be very comfortable here. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Very clean beaches. Lots of dolphin sightings.

Spring Break 2017

We had a great time. Very convenient to the beach and to Red Bar. We closed down the bar every night! Lots of fun. The hose was a bit difficult to find because it is tucked back on a sand road. They show the pool view because the front of the house is nothing to see. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has all the pans and appliances you need to cook any meal. We even used the charcoal grill one night. I would recommend this place for a large family that needs the space and doesn't need something really nice. Laid back is just what the name describes. Laid back.

the PERFECT family beach home

Not only was this the perfect home for our huge family, but the management company was also a pleasure to work with. They ensured we had everything we needed during our stay and referred us to great companies for kayak rentals, beach fires and bikes. They were so accommodating we couldn't have been more satisfied with the service. Thank you to the owners of this beautiful home for letting us stay. We can't wait to return.
