This cozy cottage is the main house of a larger family vacation compound called Magnolia House, which includes another guest house dubbed Bella Luna. For smaller vacation parties, these homes can be rented separately. Or, for larger groups, you can book the whole property. Goodnight Moon features three bedrooms, three baths, and can host up to seven guests.

This one-level beach cottage embodies southern coastal charm. A set of steps leads to a screened-in front porch furnished with wicker chairs and vibrant blue cushions. From here, you and your fellow guests can take advantage of the perfect South Walton weather while sipping cold drinks and enjoying casual conversation. Stepping into the house, you are greeted with a spacious open floor plan with high ceilings. Sunny windows accentuate the spaciousness. Shiplap walls, hardwood floors, and colorful accents add to the laid-back ambiance. The living room includes a pale blue wraparound couch adorned with bright accent pillows. Two white armchairs provide additional seating. The casual setup surrounds a Persian rug and drink table, facing a wall-mounted TV and rustic entertainment center. Wood floors extend seamlessly from the living room into the kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen is characterized by open shelving that shows off a variety of colorful dishes and décor. It has white counters, stainless steel appliances, and a fun retro-styled refrigerator and countertop microwave. In the center, there is an island with a butcher-block top and two stools. A cute dining area is situated right next to the kitchen. The white dining table is surrounded by two chairs and a corner bench seating covered in sunshine-yellow curtains. Perfect for casual dining, from breakfast to dinner.

The primary suite features a king-size bed, blue shutter headboard, handsome furnishings, and a flatscreen TV. Its ensuite bath has a tiled walk-in shower. One of the guest bedrooms also has a king-size bed, as well as a TV and private bath. In the other guest bedroom, you will find a twin-over-full bunk, a sunny window, an accent chair, and a TV.

Great accommodations are not the only thing Goodnight Moon is good for! It also has one of the best locations, within walking distance of the sugary shores, nature trails, and the artsy village center of Grayton Beach. As far as restaurants go, you will love the Red Bar, AJ’s Seafood Bar and Grill, and Chiringo’s.
