Romantic log cabin with a hot tub under a private cabana. No cleaning fee or chore list. Enjoy our cozy barn, organic garden, fresh eggs from our chickens, and friendly pygmy goats. Just 45 min to Nashville and 30 min to the airport, with access to Old Hickory Lake for hiking, kayaking, and fishing. Small pets under 15 lbs allowed with approval and fee. Pet fee 75.00 per night. APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING. No commercial filming without owner consent.

What a wonderful experience!

We loved everything about this stay and the property itself! The owners were super sweet, even leaving fun notes on the board outside the door. Getting a chance to feed the goats was cool and we enjoyed walking the property with the owners. Would recommend this property to anyone interested!

Awesome cabin retreat

The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything you'd need for a getaway! The beds were especially comfortable and Jill & LJ were very accommodating hosts. The location is just remote enough, but still close enough to downtown Nashville.

Great cabin in TN

The property and the owners exceeded our expectations. We chose the cabin because my kids and I love goats. Being able to hang out with and feed the goats was definitely a bonus. If we make it back to Tennessee we will definitely stay at Billy Goat Hill.

Great family trip!

Kitchen is generously stocked with top grade appliances, great back porch and plenty of space to play in the venue to avoid sun or rain. Plenty to do with hiking and kayaks or games that are available. Beds and pillows are amazingly comfy!

Perfect country wedding or getaway!

The cabin had everything you’ll need! A cozy den with fireplace, kitchen was stocked with coffee, pans, utensils…etc etc. The front porch had a great view and the back porch had a private hot tub, grill, swings and furniture. Our host was so friendly and easy to contact!! Beautiful venue/barn for a small country wedding.

We loved our stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Billy Goat Hill Cabin. The hosts were so helpful and gracious. They gave my grandson the opportunity to gather the chicken eggs and feed the chicken and goats. Every morning he wanted to go outside to check on them. The cabin was spotless and well equipped. We will definitely stay there again.

holiday getaway on the way to downtown Nashville

Good time relaxing at the cabin. Too bad it rained the whole time except day of departure. Would have liked to go for a walk and enjoy the hot tub, but Jill picked us up on the golf cart and let us feed their goats upon last day! She was a wonderful host and accommodating.

We are sorry it rained when you were here. Can you please let us know why you gave 4 stars for your stay? We always strive for 5 and if there was anything that was not to your satisfaction we would like to know immediately. If there are any issues we will make the necessary changes as soon as it comes to our attention. Why did you not use the hot tub? It is completely covered off the back deck under a gazebo. We rushed our cleaners, paid them extra because you requested an early check in due to a medical issue with your guests. I have also had to go to UPS on my own time because you left a pencil that you requested to be mailed to you. We hope you enjoyed the fresh eggs we gave you during your stay.

Very relaxing and unique getway!

We really enjoyed our week at the cabin! We were pleased to find that it was spotlessly clean and felt more like a home than a rental. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and they even have a fully shelf of boardgames and records to play. Our son had a blast looking at the goats and chickens and we had plenty of fresh eggs from the coop! Owners Jill and LJ were extremely responsive and always got back to us within a few minutes. We've stayed at lots of rental homes and this is definitely among the best!

We were traveling back and forth between Nashville and Washington D.C. We decided to look for a place in the Nashville area. We walked in the cabin and said to ourselves...This is home.

The cabin is such a quiet, private and romantic getaway. You will find that once you stay you don't want to leave. We offer to our guests kayak rentals as well as a farm to table breakfast cooked by a Southern chef.
