My husband and I brought our 2 daughters, son in laws and grandchildren for a Columbus week vacation. They enjoyed the dock for a little fishing and the view is fantastic. The house is close to shopping. The house was roomy for our family and the host was very responsive.

This home is perfect for a big family get away to nature, yet close to all entertainment in the city. The house is nice and clean. All bedrooms on the ground level, allowing for easy access for seniors. We were 10 people and we had plenty of space. Easy access to water, nice views. One thing - if you want to do a lot of cooking, you might want to bring some extra pots. There is a really long driveway for parking, fits 6-7 cars easily, (but you need some logistics to get out because the cars block each other - not a big deal though.) overall we are very happy, we would stay again.

I cannot say enough good about this house. It is nicely furnished (kitchen, too), perfectly situated on the river/lake, lots of separate seating areas, decks, boat house, fire pit. I was there for work but I'd happily bring my family back. The hosts have thought of everything! Beautiful experience.

The property was spacious and breathtaking! Lot's of wildlife and right on the lake. Short drive to all popular destinations, but much needed to rest and relax! Awesome experience!

Still a few kinks…

property has potential, just missing a few key things. There were no towel bars in any of the bathrooms at all. No where to hang things making it hard to keep tidy. The attic door opens when entering primary bath and black dust falls from it every time. This is a Less than stocked kitchen, if you sleep 14 you should be able to cook for them. 4 pans and 2 baking sheets aren’t enough to actually cook and enjoy the benefit of renting an entire home. Ants were everywhere in bathroom and bunk room. Debris and maintenance needed on deck stairs and dock stairs. And there were no rugs anywhere making it very echo-y. Would rather put my feet down on something washable and cozy than have 7 throw pillows on bed. Also, every person had a tick on them from being outdoors. A warning would have been really helpful. .

The refrigerator had shelves missing which greatly reduced our ability to keep food. We had eight people staying there in this was a bit of a hassle. The dock was simply unusable due to the amount of spiderwebs, bugs and and uncleanliness. Could have used a few more hooks to hang towels in the bathrooms. Otherwise, the house was nice for our purposes with our family. We had plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. The setting was beautiful with the very mature trees and wildlife. We had a great view of a fireworks display right across the lake. The enclosed room on the back was used excessively. Communication with the host was very good.

This house was absolutely adorable and perfect for our group of 8. All amenities that are not normally included in a rental were alll there for us. Thank you! We had some Mother Nature events that were certainly out of owners control that were quickly taken care of- one being a giant tree falling and taking out power and internet late one evening. The only thing that would have been helpful was to have an emergency line to call for additional assistance after hours. We also have not heard from anyone regarding damage to personal property from the tree falling.
