Chris & Kathy were absolutely wonderful to work with - responsive, accommodating, and communicative! Their property was perfect - clean; well-stocked with essentials; in close proximity to Notre Dame/downtown; etc. We could not have asked for a better host or experience. The house was very well stocked with odd n end items in the kitchen which was very helpful. Plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. Great location to campus. Would stay again!

Perfect, convenient stay for graduation

We stayed a long weekend for ND graduation. Property was extremely clean (even laundry room). Plenty of bath towels. Step in shower was a bonus for grandparents. Very comfortable living room. Can’t beat 5 minute drive to campus.

This was a great property. All the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied. Short-ish walk to Trader Joe’s and a bit further to the stadium. We would recommend it and would stay again.

ND vs USC trip

We had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was a little farther from campus then we usually stay, but it was a quick Uber trip to campus. We will definitely look to stay there again if we come back. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home. The boys really enjoyed playing football in the back yard.

Perfect place for guys trip to see a game. Room for 8 to sleep. Bath and kitchen updated. Walk home from late night game is a plus, avoid the traffic. Every thing work well. Hosts were great.

Great Stay

House was better than expected. Had everything we needed to cook and clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, soap and snow shovels (had to dig out car on out last morning). Keyless entry was very convenient. Quiet neighborhood, yet only 1 mile from campus. Will definitely book again if we come back to the area! Host was very responsive.

Not the best place I’ve stayed at...

Place was ok. Lumpy smelly beds, warm/cool showers and being told that there were two bathrooms(in the ad)and finding out there was only one didn’t help.Shoukd have went to a hotel.

Hi Maureen, We are sorry our 3 bedroom whole house rental wasnt up to the 5 star standards that we strive for and consistently maintain. As for the complaints you dictated in your review... as in the description we are currently adding a 2nd bathroom which is listed in the description. Considering you stayed during NYE, one of the biggest holidays, i felt it appropriate to give the contractors the week off. Our apologies nonetheless. Also considering we've never had complaints about "lumpy" or "smelly" beds in our other reviews, we'll most assuredly address that issue, and thank you for bringing it to our attention, as well as the shower, which I myself have taken... and water temperature has never been an issue. However its understandable different people may have different perspectives of whats "hot"... we'll be sure to check the hot water heater nonetheless. We strive to provide 5 star stays at an affordable price, and considering this recently remodeled 3 bedroom that sleeps 10 has provided such hospitality to various other guests without issue... i would be inclined to agree with you.... you should have stayed in a hotel. Hopefully your future stays in South Bend are more enjoyable, good luck and happy New Year! Regards, Chris
