The house was perfect for our group. The hosts were very accommodating. We arrived early and they let us put our luggage in the garage and we took off sight seeing. They had a nice snack basket for us which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The only negative was the swimming pool. It could have used a good cleaning. We had a great time in San Antonio!!

Thank you for the kind review, and thank you for the feedback. The pool was cleaned the day you arrived, and we specifically asked you to let us know if you’d like us to clean it during your stay. We would have been happy to if you had let us know. We try not to bother guests during longer stays unless we are asked. We hope you return and give us another opportunity to make your stay more enjoyable!

The house was in a beautiful, very quiet neighborhood and was extremely clean and well kept. The pool and hot tub were an amazing combination. With the pool being 9 feet deep and mostly shaded, it stayed incredibly refreshing even during the Texas summer heat. The putt-putt green was a great addition and something we really enjoyed. The hosts were fantastic and provided more than we would normally expect from a rental. Everything about the stay was easy and enjoyable. This may have been our favorite family trip yet. Amazing experience all around, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This was such an amazing stay. We felt so comfortable in the home. All the little details and extras were well thought out. The host was very responsive with any and all questions, very clean and well kept, and we had zero issues. From the sweet welcome basket, to the fully stocked kitchen, high chair, kids mattress, and extra pool toys. We didn’t need anything extra. I will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful accommodations just as described. Great location on a quiet street with easy access to everything. Owners were fabulous. They welcomed us with a gift basket and were quick to communicate. We thought we left behind an item and the owners were happy to ship it to me. I could not ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was the perfect home base for a visit with my daughter who lives in San Antonio. The backyard is lovely! We used the pool and the putting green. This house is one of the best stocked vacation homes I've ever seen. We had everything we needed and things we didn't even know we needed. The owners left a thoughtful welcome basket with some fun snacks. There were plenty of places to hang out and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk in. The house is in a great location-close to restaurants, shopping, the airport and anything you want to see in San Antonio.

About the host

Hosted by John and Cecilia

Host profile image
We moved to San Antonio after John retired from the military in 2003 and have happily called it home since. You could say we're not from here but got here as soon as we could. We hope you enjoy our home.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful home that sleeps 12 comfortably, not including the use of two large sofas. It is in the heart of the city but you would think you were in the suburbs because the neighborhood is so quiet and the lots are so large. Virtually everything in the city is less than 15-20 minutes away. For those aspiring singers, we have installed a professional karaoke system for hours of enjoyment. For anyone who just has to have that warm hydrotherapy in the evenings (or in the mornings), we have installed a 7-person Jacuzzi hot tub to complement the large pool.

What makes this property unique

A beverage on one of the backyard patios with a meal cooking on the outdoor grill watching your loved ones enjoy the large yard and pool makes it all worth it. Grocery stores are about a mile away in two different directions, movie theaters and mall are less than 5 minutes away. There's something for everyone very close to this home.
