Our stay in Dieppe

We stayed two nights in Valerie’s adorable three bedroom cottage. It was beautifully decorated with a bright, beach vibe. We had a cool rainy evening and Valerie provided us with wood for a cheery fire in the cosy living room.

Two night stop over

Quaint little property. Lovely host. We did think that it could be made better, but enjoyed our two night stay. Cracking food at the Michelin restaurant five minutes away. Scary prices though.

Peace and quiet.

Wonderfull welcome from the owner - Valerie. The house is warm and welcoming and fully equipped with everything you need. Perfect size for 4 adults. Comfortable beds, with the peaceful surroundings, provided a good nights sleep. It’s a 10 min drive into the centre, or if you're up to a good walk, taking in some glorious views it is about 45 min walk. Would definitely return to Dieppe and this property. Thank you Valerie for proving a wonderful location to a lovely few days away.

Excellentes. La plage du Puys tout près, facilité pour aller en ville. En cemoment le pont en ville est coupé, cela rallonge, mais bien entendu le logement n'y est pour rien :)

Gezellig huisje

Hadden een heel aangenaam, verblijf het huisje is vanalles voorzien. Goede bedden alleen het bed voor onze tiener dochter was wat kort.We waren heel vriendelijk ontvangen van de lieve gastvrouw.

Uriges Häuschen mit vielen Accessoires

Das Haus schmiegt sich an den Bergrücken, der die Klippen bei Dieppe vom Hinterland trennt. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig an einer Durchgangsstraße, nur einen kurzen Fußmarsch vom Strand von Puy entfernt. Im Erdgeschoss ein großes Wohn/Ess-Zimmer mit Küche. Daneben ein Schlafzimmer, das ebenerdig eine eigene Tür zum Vorhof hat. Im Vorhof, von einer naturbelassenen Hecke von der Straße getrennt, steht ein Tisch mit Stühlen. Im hinteren Teil ein größeres Badezimmer mit Toilette. Die zweite Toilette liegt im Obergeschoss und schmiegt sich zwischen die beiden weiteren Schlafräume, mit einer lustigen Falttüre von der steilen Holztreppe nach unten getrennt. Überall viele Accessoires aus der Welt der Fischer und Seeleute - Rettungsringe, Ruder, Seile und Knoten. Für alle, die ein uriges Objekt schätzen bestimmt ein schöner Aufenthalt!

Un logement original mais très humide

L'emplacement, la communication avec Valérie, tout le matériel nécessaire sur place sont les bons points le logement ne manque de rien en soit côté équipements quasiment.. Jolie déco... Par contre, un vrai problème d'humidité dans toute la maison... Chaque pièce à une VMC mais ce n'est clairement pas suffisant. En hiver ça doit être une catastrophe, on voit l'humidité sur les murs, il y a certaines pièces qui ont des odeurs... C'est dommage car ce lieu a un fort potentiel. Mais une restauration, des travaux d'isolation ne feraient pas de mal et un coup de propre aussi... On voit que le ménage n'est malheureusement pas fait dans tous les recoins.. Le velux d'une chambre est à changer entièrement tellement il est pourri.. Le toilette sur le palier en haut est vraiment pas adéquat ! Les cailloux vers les portes extérieures aussi... Je pense qu'en cas de fortes pluies l'eau doit rentrer.. Les terrasses sont laissées à l'abandon même si le matériel est ok.. C'est juste dommage En plus un porte manteau ne serait pas de trop à l'entrée, décaler la poubelle sous l'évier aussi car pas pratique du tout elle a mal été installée...

Nette Gastgeberin, aber die Fotos täuschen leider

Valérie ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die schnell antwortet. LAGE: - wenige Gehminuten (ca. 10min) zum Strand - sehr schöner Steinstrand - schnell in die Dieppe - fußläufig kein Bäcker oder dergleichen. - Haus liegt an einer Ortsdurchfahrtsstraße (Berufsverkehr) - nicht freistehend, direkt an anderes Haus angebaut - Eingangsbereich/Sitzbereich nur durch eine niedrige Hecke getrennt zu den Nachbarn ("Partyfamilie") - Außenbereich: Boden brüchig, Stühle sehr wacklig, - obere Außenanlage sehr vergammelt (Splittergefahr) - wacklige Treppe, Moss, rutschig - Liegestühle rostig bzw. nicht nutzbar (Strebe gebrochen. HAUS - nett eingerichtet, sehr alte verlebte Möbel - ABER!!! Haus ist SEHR muffig/schimmelig - Wäsche/Kleidung dadurch immer klamm und stinkig! - Sofa stinkt nach Mief - Küche ist sehr klein - kleine Mikro-Back-Kombi - Laminat ist teilweise abgebrochen (zum Schlafzimmer) - Fernheizung springt an und macht Lärm - nicht sauber (Abfalleimer, Küche krümelig, Spinnweben,...) - bei Regen tritt Wasser ein und es wird rutschig - oben Bäder = Dusche und Waschbecken KEIN WC!!!! - 2. TOILETTE AUF DEM GANG in einem Schrank! - keine dritte Toilette wie angegeben - für Kleinkinder/Senioren sehr grenzwertig - Garage nicht befahrbar und von Nagetieren bewohnt (Kot) Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, sonst wäre es eine Katastrophe geworden!
