Step into the historic Taos Room at La Posada de Taos and experience the colorful Southwest furnishings, the fine artwork from the Taos and Santa Fe area and the feel of an enchanting and secluded hideaway only two blocks from the Taos Plaza. We are proud to have taken the time to be sure every detail is crafted and tailored for your comfort and enjoyment during your stay. The Taos Room has a private bathe and shower, luxurious queen size bedding, Dish TV, WiFi, refrigerator, complimentary gourmet coffee you brew yourself and an entrance under the portal that looks out over the flowered garden (in season) and Western arbor of the "Big House". The Taos Room sleeps two comfortably, but please remember that the entire La Posada de Taos Compound can accommodate up to 26 guests if you so desire.

Walkable, cozy space!

The space was clean and cute and quite walkable to town! Parking was easy and close and the lock box made check in and out super easy.

Great value

The accommodation was ok- it was small (that was expected) and the bed was very firm. Very very firm. Pillows were ok. Bathroom was good. It has lots of charm, the location is fantastic, everything was spotless. We’d recommend it for 2 people.

Good Value Just off Taos Plaza

The accommodations were nearly ideal for my 4-night stay. The room was clean. The bathroom was serviceable, and the property itself was quite nice.I would spend a little more for a larger space next time but would definitely return to this property. Want to say thank you to the owners.

Cozy and close to Plaza!

Nice studio sized room - perfect for a single or couple. A couple of blocks to the plaza, the fantastic La Luna restaurant & shopping. Loved our stay at La Posada de Taos!

Lovely & Cozy Room

This was a small but cozy studio room (bed and living area combined) which was perfect for my wife and I. The heat worked well (we experienced Taos's first major snowstorm of the forthcoming winter season) and the bathroom was perfectly acceptable. Mini frig. and small coffeemaker were great to have. Within walking distance of the Plaza. All in all, a wonderful visit!

This apartment is a part of a gorgeous larger house. The property looks well maintained and was very clean. Area seemed super safe and Taos is wonderful!

Desert oasis

Came to Taos for a friend’s memorial. Perfect location for walking to the plaza and restaurants. Loved the gardens surrounding the inn. Will definitely come back!

Just right

If you are looking for a super luxurious hotel keep scrolling. If you are looking for quiet , quaint , historical and efficient … stop scrolling . Beautiful property , gardens do not disappoint. It is a very simple room with simple amenities. We came to Taos to explore and have a place to crash at the end and ended up spending a lot more time in the room than we expected . Would absolutely book again.

Perfectly charming!

This is an ideal Taos option for a solo traveler. The courtyard and grounds are beautiful and so well-kept and a nice lot for parking. This particular unit is charming and cozy and all the little details were appreciated (high-quality windows that easily opened with nice, easily workable blinds, a fan for warmer weather, high-quality bathroom fixtures and shower curtain, wonderfully comfortable full bed….even real creamer in the fridge and a few choice utensils for those who enjoy their coffee light and sweet. Loved my stay….wish I could have stayed a few days longer.)

Good location, very comfortable stay.

This was the perfect location for us. We had no problems checking in, the instructions were very clear. The room is small (it is a historical building), but clean and comfortable. We love the little courtyard, and being so close to restaurants and galleries.
