About this property

Tuscan-style apartment facing Duomo

Two-bedrooms apartment on the second and last floor of a beautiful Florentine building (lift is accessible right after two flights of stairs of ten steps each). Each room has its own en-suite bathroom.

Privileged view on Brunelleschi's dome, so close that it seems you can touch it. The wooden ceiling beams make the atmosphere cozy. Ideal launch into all directions to discover the city of Florence. From Piazza del duomo you can easily reach on foot the main points of interest of the city, starting from the baptistery, the new library of the Oblate and the Opera del duomo museum.

Grocery is just on the other side of the road, a restaurant is next door and a cafe is thirty meters away.

Internet connection is unlimited and included in the rental price. You will find the wifi password on the router, under the television.

Of the four historic neighborhoods, facing each other every year in the historic Florentine-football tournament, we belong to the "Verdi" of San Giovanni.

Perfect Florence stay

What a perfect place to stay! We were here for 10 days in the middle of June and had an excellent time. The apartment had everything you could want: amazing views, air conditioning, an elevator, a washing machine, super aesthetically pleasing, a short walk to the super market, and good communication from the host. We loved every minute of our time in Florence and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place in Firenze

The flat was incredibly close to the Duomo and central to everything we wanted to see in Florence. It was a perfect space for 4 adults. Location can't be beat. Beautifully decorated apartment around the corner from the Duomo. I wouldn't recommend for those with young children, but it was the perfect place for two couples to use as home base while exploring Florence.

This apartment is great! It has Wi-Fi, A/C, washing machine, full kitchen, etc...all the modern comfort that you need in a historic city. The apartment is better than pictured, it's location is key. Fantastic location - Great Apartment

We loved our stay here. The listing is accurate, pictures were true to real life. Beds comfy, house was wonderful, perfect place for a weekend or a long stay. The location could not be beat!! The hosts were attentive and extremely helpful. The first 20 steps to get to the lift were challenging with 70 lbs of luggage (we'd been traveling for a month), but we knew about them in advance and were prepared! Would recommend this property!

Charming Apartment near Duomo

The apartment was very spacious, well-equipped and charming with wood beams and period details. Communication with the property manager was excellent. He responded quickly when we voiced minor concerns. Location was down the street from the Duomo and all major sights were walkable. Highly recommended!

Great location in the center of town, easy walking distance to everything. Large, comfortable apartment steps from the Duomo. Our family of four had tons of space. Niccolo was very nice, met us when we got in even though it was late. The street was very busy at night but the noise didn't bother us at all, apartment was very quiet.

Unbeatable location

The apartment is in a historic area with all the modern amenities (and yes, the Duomo is right outside the livingroom window!). We were a group of.two couples and we had plenty of space to spread out. The living, dining and kitchen spaces were generous and we each had our own bathroom. The location can't be beat... so many landmarks are within easy walking distance. Niccòlo was a kind host and gave us great recommendations for.restaurants. This place is in an excellent location. My only suggestion for improvement would be the bed upstairs. It is a queen mattress placed on a double size frame. Not terribly comfortable. Otherwise excellent place.

The apartment is very spacious. Lots of living space. After the apartment cooled down it was quite comfortable. The location is very central and convenient. There is street noise which is unavoidable being so close to the Duomo. Niccolo met us at the time of our arrival and allowed us to immediately check in. He was very accommodating.

Hi Judith, thank you for your review. Every feedback is welcome, however since 2014 when we started renting this flat nobody ever mentioned street noise. Indeed we are so close to the duomo, which is not an area of nightlife. It's rather for tourists to enjoy the museums during the day. There's a restaurant very close to the building , but no night clubs. And we are top floor, not close to street level (we have a lift). But most important, both bedrooms have windows facing and internal courtyard, not the street, so they get light but no street noise at all. Thank you again for visiting us and all the best. Niccolò
