Pavia is a former stud farm where many Vincennes winners were born such as Kenasdo de Thoury, Labrador de Thoury and Cigale de Thoury.
Recently completely renovated, the Haras de la Pavie is now a splendid holiday home combining the charm of the old with modern comfort, ideal for spending holidays with family or friends. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the house can comfortably accommodate 13 people.
The Haras de la Pavie enjoys an exceptional natural environment with its 22 hectare park which you can explore as you go for walks and picnics. You will meet there throughout the day its inhabitants: mallards, pheasants, deer and deer,…
Located 2 km from the entrance to Chambord Park, it is a prime starting point for discovering Sologne and the Loire Valley on foot, by bike, or on horseback. You will let yourself be carried away by its many rural paths which will allow you to discover a nature that has remained wild.
It is also an ideal base for exploring the most beautiful castles of the Loire, with the castles of Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Villesavin less than an hour away by car.
Wine lovers will not be outdone either with the vineyards and cellars of Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon and Cheverny to discover in the surroundings.

You can also discover Loire, a world heritage site, by canoe or kayak, with its islands surrounded by unique landscapes. The Best Place to Stay in the Loire

On a scale of 1-10, La Pavie gets a 12. The house and grounds were fabulous and in a great location. We used it as base to visit a lot (a whole lot) of Chateaux. Our host was wonderful. She was quick to respond and to help when we needed it. She made our visit pleasant and most memorable. La Pavie is definitely the place to stay when in the Loire!

Almost like living in Chambord next door

Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux pour Noël, en famille, à 12 personnes. La maison est réellement impeccable, confortable et accueillante, avec sa belle hauteur sous plafond et son salon douillet devant le feu de cheminée. Visite de châteaux, dégustation de produits locaux, fête des vignerons... Le tout à vélo grâce aux pistes cyclables qui ne manquent pas dans le coin. Sylvia qui s'occupe du gîte est une personne charmante, accueillante et réactive. Un merveilleux weekend en famille.

Séjour tres agréable

Sejour en famille agréable dans un cadre calme et spacieux. Les enfants ont pu s'épanouir en extérieur devant les adultes qui profitaient des transats. Le logement est propre, bien agencé avec des fleurs pour nous accueillir. Sylvia est disponible et tres accueillante. Nous retenons l'adresse pour une prochaine visite près des chateaux de la Loire

Nous avons passé un excellent WE. Maison accueillante, tres grande, propre. Seule point negatif : une odeur très très desagreable dans une salle de douche et quelques grincements dans un radiatur dans une chambre. Mais le reste etait parfait.

Viste des Chateaux de la Loire

Notre rencontre avec Sylvia, notre hôtesse à notre arrivée, s est très bien passée. Cette belle maison, située dans un cadre magnifique et reposant, correspondait en tous points à nos attentes. Un vrai petit cocon douillet. Le bois crépitant même dans la cheminée à notre arrivee. Rien ne manque pour passer un agréable sejour. Si je dois y trouver à redire je dirai qu un petit canapé de plus auprès de la cheminée serait un plus. Mais tout était parfait. Merci Sylvia

Grand gîte de qualité à proximité de Chambord

Hébergement parfait pour notre groupe de sept adultes et trois enfants, desireux de passer un bon moment en famille. La maison spacieuse très bien rénovée et équipée. L'environnement immédiat est calme, très agréable et adapté aux enfants. Evidemment la Sologne étant une zone très forestière et peu peuplée, les commerces et les activités (visites, piscines...) sont relativement éloignés du gîte. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil et la réactivité de la responsable Sylvia. Excellente adresse.

Agréable séjour en Sologne

Séjour très agréable dans cette maison "cosy". Sylvia avait préparé une flambée dans la cheminée, et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis bienvenus. La localisation est idéale pour visiter des châteaux et le Zoo de Beauval. En bref : une adresse à retenir !

Un Noël en famille

Séjour d’une semaine pour nous retrouver des 4 coins de la France Gîte très propre, très agréable à vivre et très bien décoré pour Noël par notre hôtesse Sylvia Espaces de vie confortables et conviviaux, avec la douceur du feu de cheminée Très bien équipé, avec la bonne surprise de l’arrière cuisine équipée pour entreposer les victuailles gargantuesques de la famille… Très calme Allez y sans hésiter !

séjour parfait en famille

On a passé de superbes vacances, dans un environnement laissé très naturel, ce que les enfants ont adoré. La maison est située très près des châteaux de la Loire, dans un calme absolu (mais il faut absolument avoir une voiture, pas de possibilités de faire les courses en aout à proximité) Les chambres sont très bien équipées et les salles de bains et toilettes nombreuses nous ont facilités notre séjour. La cuisine avec un petit garde-manger et une buanderie est bien équipé . La dame qui s'occupe de la maison est d'une grande gentillesse.

excellente location très agréable, très bien agencée et équipée, dans un cadre magnifique.

Week end familial pour célébrer avec enfants et petits enfants nos quarante ans de mariage. Arrivée vendredi après midi, soirée familiale au gite, journée de samedi avec visite de Chambord et marche dans le parc du château, soirée festive au gîte, Dimanche journée familial au gîte, promenade dans le parc, jeux, visite de miradors pour observer la faune sauvage: cerfs, sangliers, biches, (magnifique, très attractif pour les enfants), repas pris au gîte en extèrieur, puis départ avec la nostalgie d'un superbe WE pour toute la famille.

Séjour trop court pour pouvoir profiter de ce bel endroit

Nous n'avons séjourné que 2 nuits mais je garde l'adresse en tête la prochaine fois que je reviens dans la région. Tout était à la hauteur et l'accueil de Sylvia très apprécié. Le lieu et la maison sont magnifiques.
