    Amazing stay at the apartment!

    This apartment was just what we needed for our trip to Bayeux/Normandy. We had great space and comfortable setting for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The view from the windows was spectacular - Notre Dame de Bayeux!!!! Our host, Gwenhaele, was kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She helped make our trip even better. We're grateful for her kindness and care.

Interessant en gezellig historisch centrum en ook heel goede uitvalsbasis voor (dag)uitstappen (landingsstranden, oorlogsmusea, oorlogskerkhoven, Le Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur, Caen, Falaise...)     Great Location, gracious hostess

    This little apartment is beautifully located directly across from the cathedral, near many restaurants. Although a bit tight, it does have everything you need for housekeeping. The view is beautiful. Caroline was very prompt, friendly and helpful.

    Ons appartement in hartje Bayeux was de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor onze bezoeken aan alle D-day stranden. Ook was het heerlijk om de deur uit te stappen en zoveel restaurants en winkeltjes op loopafstand te hebben. De kathedraal van Bayeux ligt recht tegenover het appartement wat een schitterend uitzicht geeft. Om 8.00 en 19.00 luiden de klokken maar hier geen last van ondervonden. Het appartement was leuk aangekleed en goed verzorgd.

    We hebben met vrienden de twee appartementen tegenover de kathedraal van Bayeux gehuurd en dat was een geweldige uitvalsbasis voor onze plannen die week. Een minpuntje is dat de schoonmakers van de stad al om 6 uur 's morgens aan het werk gaan onder ons raam! Verder is het een ideale plek voor cultuur en geschiedenis snuiven in Normandië. Alles is dichtbij, veel leuke restaurantjes etc.

    The apartment was well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. The location was magnificent. However,the flat smelled musty and was very small,even for two people.Caroline was helpful and efficient. Overall,a satisfactory stay.

    Mooie stad, kleine studio maar wel in orde. Inkomhal stonk naar afval, vuilzakken stonden beneden in de hal. De persoon die de sleutel bracht, was te laat. In het buitenland maken wij nooit gebruik van internet, dus ook geen mails. Toen we thuis kwamen, merkten we dat de eigenares nog een mail had gestuurd op de dag dat wij al vertrokken waren. Dus miscommunicatie.

    Heerlijke week gehad in hartje Bayeux. Perfecte uitvalsbasis als je hier komt voor alles rondom D-Day. Prachtig appartement, klein en knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. Gesitueerd in oud pand, volledig gerenoveerd meer uitzicht op de kathedraal. Komt wel redelijk veel verkeer voorbij, maar je zit dan ook midden in Bayeux. Parkeren kon op het plein achter het appartement en was gratis.

    We hebben genoten van het uitzicht vanop de tweede verdieping het pleintje en de ingang van de kathedraal. Tijdens de Middeleeuwse Feesten zaten we op de hoogste rij en konden we alle optredens vanuit onze luie zetel bekijken. Bayeux is een mooi, proper en gezellig stadje. Winkels en restaurants liggen op wandelafstand. Een supermarkt ligt iets verder . Rond Bayeux kan je wandelen en fietsen langs rustige wegen. Dit appartement is een aanrader !
