About this property

Seaside Cottage overlooking mountains and the Atlantic Ocean

The cottage is situated on The Wild Atlantic Way route in the heart of the West Connemara Gaeltacht and is surrounded by some of the finest scenery in Ireland, and is an ideal base for touring the Connemara Region. The cottage is overlooking the Atlantic ocean in a very quiet and peaceful area and it s just south of the Connemara Loop. It is 2Km from the beach and 6km from the village of Carna. The house has three bedrooms that sleep six, a a sitting room that has a fold up bed that sleeps one, abathroom and a kitchen.

It s a great location for those that like to relax as it s an extremely peaceful location. The house has a private road to it so guests won t have the general public driving/walking past it. There is ample parking and pathway down to the sea.

En pleine nature

La situation est parfaite, en pleine nature et tout le confort est proposé, dans une propreté très bonne. si vous recherchez un endroit pour vous ressourcer au bord de l'océan avec comme plus proche voisins les goélands et les vaches, vous serez ravis ! cependant vous ne serez pas coupés du monde pour autant avec un excellent accès internet par wifi Nadine & Olivier Aout 2019

Sea side cottage : quiet, with a great sea view

We really enjoyed our stay in Sean’s cottage. It is very well equiped and in a pleasant place to discover Connemara. We appreciated Sean welcoming, which is done less and less.

Fabulous experience

This home is in an amazing place near the ocean (one minute walk !), the fjords, the Conamara lakes and its bogs. The house is very confortable and nicely prepared. La maison est en un lieu exceptionnel à proximité de l'océan (une minute à pied), les fjords, les lacs du Connemara et ses tourbières. Elle est très confortable et généreusement préparé.
