FREE OFF STREET PARKING OFF THE ALLEY!
Quiet unit with all HEATED polished concrete FLOORS and two stylish bathrooms. Gourmet kitchen with gas range and stone counters. Eight foot ceilings throughout apartment. Master bedroom has king bed & its own bathroom with tile shower. Hall bathroom has shower. Hide-a-bed couch that is brand new and has fold out memory foam mattress. TV now new larger one. Apartment has had extensive soundproofing so you are comfortable. Owner is builder.

This part of Ballard is among the most peaceful yet close to the action of Ballard. We are west of 24th which is less busy than east of 24th. We are one house off of 28th, the boundary of all single family homes to the west, again a more relaxed area than to the east. You can easily walk to the Green Grocer, Olaf's, Rupee, Kimchi House, Samara & Piccolinos on 32nd-walk! and Copine (Michelin rated gourmet restaurant!) and the new gourmet place ADDO which are due east on 24th and 63rd. If you want a more extensive grocery selection hit QFC on 24th and 57th. Walkable! And just two more blocks is Market Street and Ballard Avenue, the main streets in Old Ballard. Ballard Ave. is one of the best streets in Seattle full of shops, restaurants and pubs! If you are in town on Sunday a must attend is the Ballard Sunday Market on Ballard Ave!

I am a native Seattleite and self-described house doctor. I love old houses in Seattle and real estate. My family has been in Seattle/King County and Snohomish County for over 130 years and been dabbling in real estate since the early 1890s.

Why they chose this property

When I found this house I was just amazed by the good bones, original features and the location. Then I had a crazy vision to create a Courtyard Apartment that I build 2013-2015! Had it rented thereafter for about 2 1/2 years to longer term tenants then decided to try vacation rentals. So far so good! We love meeting new people! Bobby lived abroad in Germany in the 1980s and traveled extensively back then. Getting to know people and gaining different perspectives are the spice of life and so important in our busy lives.

What makes this property unique

This Ballard location is really nice. Very close in to all that Ballard has to offer yet on the edge of the Ballard Urban Village, so it is quiet and feels very residential. Tip: our "neighbors 360 degrees" next door almost all work in tech and many at Amazon and are from all over the world! It's like a little ID (International District) right here in West Ballard. Say hi, people are friendly albeit slightly nerdy, haha!
