Large family chalet 160m2, 5 bedrooms including studio; 9bedrooms; large garden

Our beautiful modern and family chalet is located at the entrance of the Chamonix Valley, in a quiet hamlet with a magnificent view of the valleys and the Mont-Blanc massif, snowy all year round !!!
You are on the mountainside, away from any major traffic lane, your closest neighbors are 150m beyond the small alpine fields.
Bucolic and mountain environment, with donkeys and sheep grazing around !!!
However access is easy because the white highway is only 10 minutes at the bottom of the valley and remains passable throughout the year.
We offer 5 bedrooms (including 3 for 2 people) furnished as if you were at home, a mezzanine with an extra bed and 2 bathrooms with shower.
The American kitchen is very functional, with all the household comfort
From the living rooms, you will be on the ground floor on the terrace and the garden, in which you can have your meals, including in the evening, when the heat of the day fades in summer when the mountain turns pink.
Your young people are not forgotten, we leave them books, magazines and many games / toys, for young and old !!!
The supply takes place in the village of Les Houches (4km), or that of Servoz (4 km), or in the valley with the commercial area of Fayet (SNCF station) 7km lower by the white motorway, in free access on this stretch.
Many hikes from the chalet, which allows you to reach, via forest or alpine paths, the access route to Mont-Blanc. We no longer present the Chamonix valley and the many possible activities for lovers of mountains and thrills!
Swimming is also possible in the Passy lakes, which are suitable for picnics and small nautical activities.
The small mountain station of Vaudagne, accessible after 15 minutes of walking in the forest, also allows you to reach Chamonix and even Switzerland (Martigny) via the small rack railway which serves the entire valley from the Saint-Gervais station / Le Fayet.
We love staying in this place, and hope with all your heart that you will share our enthusiasm !!!

We thank the smokers in advance for staying outside, an outdoor smoking lounge is organized for our smoking guests! They are sheltered and can indulge their passion without disturbing the chalet.

Très chouette séjour d’une semaine à 9 personnes. Les : Le logement est très agréable (très jolie vue) et bien situé pour profiter des pistes sur les Houches. Il est aussi parfaitement aménagé pour entreposer et faire sécher les équipements.Le poêle ajoute une touche chaleureuse bien appréciable. Les - : Les 3 salles de bain ne sont accessibles qu’en traversant une chambre ce qui nécessite d’adapter l’organisation du quotidien.Certains accessoires sont un peu vétustes et le niveau de propreté un peu négligé.Nous pourrions y revenir avec grand plaisir.

Petit paradis sur terre

Le chalet est une véritable merveille. Nos attentes étaient élevées après avoir lu tous les avis élogieux sur la propriété mais la réalité a encore surpassé ce à quoi nous nous attendions !Le chalet est spacieux, confortable, très bien chauffé et équipé. Décoré avec goût il n'a rien à voir avec tous ces chalets impersonnel sur le marché des locations de courte durée , on s'y sent immédiatement comme chez soi et on aimerait ne plus le quitter ! La vue est à couper le souffle et on pourrait passer des heures assis sur ce canapé à contempler les montagnes en face. Une vraie perle rare que nous ne pouvons que recommander chaudement . Nous espérons déjà pouvoir y revenir très bientôt. L'accueil chaleureux et flexible de Anh Louise ainsi que la météo plus que parfaite en font une semaine vraiment mémorable. Merci et j'espère à une autre fois

Deuxième séjour dans ce merveilleux chalet et tout est toujours au top! Malgré l'enneigement moyen cette année, nous avons passé de super moments en famille , à profiter des avantages de toute la vallée, largement accessibles depuis le chalet.un grand merci à anh-louise pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Super vacances à la montagne !

Nous avons profité du chalet pendant une semaine à 10 personnes. 4 adultes et 6 enfants de 2 à 7 ans. La chambre au rdc est idéale pour un dortoir entre copains. Les autres chambres sont très agréables également pour les parents et les plus petits. Le must = le poêle à bois ! De plus, il rechauffe le chalet très rapidement. Le chalet est entièrement équipé et à 5min en voiture du Prarion pour les cours de ski. (Route sinueuse de montagne). La vue sur le Mont-Blanc est magique! La communication avec les propriétaires est très facile et très cordiale. Nous reviendrons sûrement si nous revenons dans les environs! Merci Philippe et Ahn Louise pour ce dépaysement 😊

Had a fabulous time

My goal in reviewing is to give the next person as much information as possible to make a decision. First, getting to the property can be exciting as it is up a very windy narrow road. If you have someone with any kind of phobia, be advised. The home is as described. We had 8 people but were not 2 families. It really is best for families especially if you are used to renting homes in Colorado with 7 beds and 8 baths. There are 3 full baths but they are inside the larger bedrooms so people staying in the other rooms have to go thru your room to use the shower. The main floor master has a tub/shower/sink but the toilet is outside the room. I think that is why it is advertised as best for 2 families as opposed to a group of people which we were. The house itself is very homey with killer views as advertised. Enjoyed the wood stove. The house could use some new beds in some of the rooms (the main bed is a double but mattress sits on side by side single box springs so it is not flat) We thoroughly enjoyed Chamonix, skied, did some sightseeing including Into the Void at the Aguille du Midi and a trip to Annecy. The house is about 15 min from Centre Chamonix and 10 min from Center Les Houches making it very convenient. Being high up, the clear night sky is spectacular and sunsets to die for!! I hope with this information as to what you can expect, you will enjoy the home. Please accept my critique for what it is. It is a lovely typical alpine home where you will have a great time. If you are American and expect the type of luxury found in newer resort properties, not sure the other places we passed were like that either.

Grand Châlet avec vue grandiose

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à 2 familles avec enfants. Le châlet est vaste et lumineux, il permet à chaque famille de vivre à son rythme. Les enfants ont trouvé sur place tous les jeux et lectures nécessaires. La vue sur le Mont blanc depuis le salon ou le jardin est magnifique et grandiose. On sent " l'histoire " de ce châlet à travers tous les éléments mis à disposition, il ne manque rien. Les sentiers balisés de randonnée sont nombreux et certains partent du châlet même. Enfin, le calme est impressionnant et favorise le repos. A recommander sans hésitation.

Très bon séjour face au massif du Mont Blanc !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en compagnie de notre famille et de nos amis. L'accueil du propriétaire fut chaleureux et les échanges au moment des préparatifs et durant le séjour furent très sympathiques. Le chalet, très agréable car fonctionnel et très lumineux, dispose d'une grande pièce de vie, avec cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée, grand salon, salle à manger et très bon poêle à bois, ce qui favorise les moments de convivialité et de partage. Les nombreuses chambres (4, ainsi que le studio en bas) permettent aussi l'intimité et de ne pas se sentir les uns sur les autres. La vue depuis le salon est magnifique (nuances de couleurs incroyables sur le massif du Mont Blanc au fil de la journée) et la bibliothèque très riche. On sent une histoire à travers tous ces éléments mis à disposition, ce qui nous plonge dans un chalet rempli de souvenirs, de vécu, et non pas quelque chose d'"aseptisé" comme certains chalets ou appartements à la montagne dans lesquels nous avions pu séjourner auparavant. Nous recommandons à 100% cette location, paisible et confortable.

Très bon séjour dans ce beau chalet familial où l’on se sent comme chez soi.Rien ne manque :vaisselle,jeux pour enfants etc... Nous n avons pas eu froid malgré des températures jusqu’à - 12... Le poêle à bois est très agréable dans la pièce principale. L espace était parfait pour 5 adultes et 2 enfants. vue extraordinaire sur le Mont Blanc et l aiguille du Midi par beau temps. À retenir pour passer les fêtes en famille.

Chalet au top

Le chalet est vraiment très agréable. Véritable nid douillet au milieu des montagnes avec une vue permanente sur le géant d'Europe : on ne s'en lasse pas. Les chemins de randonnée passent au pied du chalet, et Les Houches sont à 10 minutes en voiture. Nous avons passé un super Noel et tout était réuni pour que cela soit génial. Recommandé à 100%
