This was a wonderful meeting place for the family for the holiday get together. There was plenty of room for all of us to play games and do puzzles and make a lot of memories. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed for the traditional HUGE turkey dinner and fixings. Loved the location on lake Michigan and want to come back in the summer to fully enjoy the lake. It is a beautiful location.
This house was perfect for a weekend with adult family! Right on the lake with a great views and access to kayak/ swim in the lake. Outdoor space was perfect with plenty of chairs and a table. Inside was clean and had everything we needed from board games to cooking utensils. We were very happy with our stay!
The property was perfect for a fun filled family get together! The property was clean and well furnished.
The view of the bridge was great, plus we enjoyed a couple of beautiful sunsets.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is very private, and not only is the view beautiful but the sound of the lake's big water hit the shore is so soothing. It is clean and quiet. Neighborhood is secure and house is easy to access.
We loved our stay. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were there to take our daughter over to Mackinac Island to see all the horses and while it was fun to be on the island, it was nice to have a cozy, quiet place to come in the evenings for relaxation and a beautiful private piece of lakefront property to call ours for a few days!!!
We rented the property for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. We had 8 adults with more then enough room to relax. Property is close to town and other UP attractions. Beautiful view of the straits and barges.
Great location and wonderful house, perfect for a large family. The only issue we had was that the driveway and sidewalk was not shoveled/plowed so plan for that if going in the winter.
We would love to go back in the summer so that we can enjoy the lake!
I loved the privacy of the beach and we need to comeback next summer. My little daughter dis not want to leave and I promised he that we will come back.
The UP is beautiful this time of year. The house was great , clean , well stocked . Internet and cable was spotty but we did not care. We would stay again.
The house was just as shown. There was lots of room for the whole family. There are lots of extras included. Our family really enjoyed game nights from the large selection of games in the house. We loved having s'mores around the SoloStove firepit provided. Having breakfast on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake is so peaceful. Overall, a great trip.
The perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
Beautiful, isolated location with lovely outdoor amenities. We swam in the lake (the shore is rocky so pack your water shoes), enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and soaked in the wonderful views of the lake and the bridge. We also enjoyed fun day trips to Mackinac Island and Tahquamenon Falls. One week was not long enough to enjoy all this place has to offer. The property was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, blankets, and sheets. Keypad entry made check-in and check-out a breeze. We’d definitely come back!
Overall the stay was incredible. Beautiful property with lake access in view of the bridge. Plenty of sleeping options. House is close to all the major attractions around St. Ignace. 5/5.
The only downsides were the hot water at the house wouldn’t stay hot enough to take a full shower, even if you were the first of the day it would get cold after 5 minutes or so. Also the bugs were everywhere making the deck/outside hard to enjoy but that’s because the time of year we went (2nd week of May) and not because of the property.
We came as an adult vacation with our children and their partners. This house was just what we were looking for. We were here to do some hiking so the fact the majority of the area is closed in November didn't phase us. The house had everything we needed to cook some basic meals and was close enough to town to make a pizza run. The beach has a magnificent view of the Mackinaw Bridge. We also saw many freighters from the house.
The "big" bedroom is a great second hang out space if you need one. The living room was spacious enough for us to hang out.
Our only complaint and it is minor, is we would have liked the king size beds to have been in the solo rooms. It would have been a tight fit but would have worked.
We started off bad with the owners deciding to stay until after 4 which was our check in. Didn’t allow time for housekeeping to clean house throughly. Very inconsiderate of owners who expect big bucks for renting!!! And they didn’t even apologize!
Once the house was empty and we did our own cleaning, it turned into a very enjoyable week. Roomy house with great view and right on the lake.
Morgan, our contact for the rental was excellent at responding and taking care of any questions.
I would rent this property again and hope the owners are not there before. Lol.
The location of this day was nothing short of amazing. It was secluded and beautiful and felt like a piece of heaven had been handed to us for four days. We enjoyed our time relaxing in this peaceful atmosphere, where we had campfire by the lake, kayaking, ate outside and bathed in the sun light. The garden tub in the master bath was amazing! My only complaint was the cleanliness of the house and care of outside. The house needs a deep cleaning & outside needs weeding, mowing (grass was super long) and grounds are in desperate need of some nice landscaping. Trash was already full upon arrival. Being cleaners, ourselves, we were a bit disappointed, but it didn’t take away from our awesome 3 night, four days. We are grateful for the time that we got to spend there and we would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Thank you for allowing our family to make memories at your amazing property.

10/10 for the house but....
The house was gorgeous, amazing area, well stocked, everything everyone else has stated. Loved the house. Didn't love the cleaning crew and management company. Cleaning crew obviously did a quick run through of the house and wiped down all the important areas - kitchen and bathroom countertops were fine. BUT there was a bag of brown liquified lettuce in the fridge, garbage in the kitchen garbage can, a seriously gross layer of crud in one of the coffee makers, many dead bugs on the floor of the upstairs bedrooms, a wrist band in the shower and dust all over most everything. Also, when we arrived a little after 4:00 on a Thursday, one of the fire alarms was chirping. I called the management office around 4:30 and left a message. No one called or texted back. We had to go into town and get a replacement battery. We were also disappointed that there was no salt or sand available to us as we were there during a horrible ice storm. We were in contact with the management company once the storm hit, and obviously there was nothing they could do about the storm, but we could not get out of the driveway and it seemed some sort of salt or sand should have been available to us. They did offer to comp us another night if we had to stay, but the power had gone out so no heat or water, and we were eventually able to make our way off the property.
We are a family group of 9 adults on our first visit to Michigan. Beautiful home with modern vibe and so tastefully decorated and furnished. It had everything we needed for meal prep in the large kitchen and seating for conversation. Highly recommended and great lake views.
