Hello John, thank so much for your generous review. We apologized if we couldn’t fit your expectations about hot tub. We have hot tub just for main house guests and we really didn’t know that how it’s showing up on Cabin’s description. We will fix this glitch. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was great inside and out. The property is amazing and picturesque. We went sledding right in front of the cabin steps. Good time and lots of laughs.

Our fourth stay on the property! We appreciated the updates including a new kitchen stove and flooring in the kitchen. House is very cozy and comfortable. We ended up not having a fire because it was pretty warm but there was plenty of firewood delivered during our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Everything was fine with the exception of the fact we got there and all the window were unlocked and I wished they would have had some window coverings.

Nicely appointed, peaceful, log cabin
We loved that we were 10 minutes from Lake St. Catherine.
We enjoyed being atop a hill overlooking farm country. We got a kick out of watching the cows wander out of the treeline early in the a.m.
This was a nice experience. We' d definitely stay here again.
Thank you!

And we would definitely look forward to having you. It was a pleasure corresponding with you and a joy to see the cabin left in very good shape. We could not even tell anyone had been there Thanks for your consideration.
We had a great stay in the log cabin. Beautiful and tranquil location. Super easy check in. The cabin was comfortable for 6 adults. Merry Lee our host was great to work with and was very responsive, though we had total privacy during our stay. We cooked out on the grill in the yard and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Wifi and tv worked great, which was great because there was limited cell reception (Bonus!). We would love to stay here again

The property is beautiful and a good value.
We brought our 3 nephews and our golden retriever, Maxie for Easter weekend. The Cabin is cozy and equipped and had plenty of space for the five of us. Maxie and the boys spent hours in the crystal clear pond... boating/kayaking and having a blast. We enjoyed all the surrounding woods on our hikes directly from the cabin and found the cows to be an added bonus! Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

As usual, a typical, peaceful and beautiful environment!
Renting was easy with clear and consistent communication between me andMerry Lee. My only surprise was that there were only 5 or 6 logs for the fire and if more was needed, they were to be purchased elsewhere. However, I will gladly return and ,next time, bring more logs myself. Thanks, Merry Lee! Neil
We enjoyed our stay at the log cabin at Hidden Valley Farm. It was clean, comfortable with a great fireplace and front porch overlooking a beautiful view. Check-in/check-out was easy. The hosts left plenty of firewood for the firepit and fireplace. Note- the farmhouse on the property is also a rental so you may see and hear other people. It may have been particular to our stay but there was a large group renting the house who played loud music outside, drove ATVs around the property and had a bonfire. This made it less than ideal as we were expecting more peace and quiet in this setting. But they did respect the 10pm quiet hours rule and it was quiet after that. Overall, we recommend the cabin.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Hidden Valley Farm! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the log cabin and found it clean and comfortable, especially with the cozy fireplace and beautiful views. We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise from the farmhouse rental; it's always a balance between enjoying a communal space and seeking tranquility. It’s great to know that the large group respected the quiet hours after 10 PM. Your recommendation means a lot, and we hope you can return for another stay that meets your expectations for peace and quiet!

My family and I had such a wonderful mini-vacation in Vermont at the Cabin on the Farm! The views of the mountain, fresh green air, and invigorating hiking trails allowed us to have the break from the world that we so needed. The farm is quiet and breathtakingly beautiful, which allowed our family to have true quality time. Thank you so much for our stay!

Thank you, Emily, for a lovely description of how your family enjoyed the cabin. You should come back and see it in spectacular Autumn. We'd love to have you back any time.
Property was nice but needs updating… Bed was not comfortable, and should be replaced. Property setting was beautiful, but access was by dirt road and extended dirt driveway, that should be in description. Directions provided in email for internet connection were wrong, but we found updated instructions in manual on table. Internet connection is needed for devices as otherwise there was no coverage…
We had a celebration of life for my Mother who passed during COVID. Our family was able to gather at the Farm House and Cabin for a fantastic celebration. It was my second visit to the cabin. Perfect both times!
Located within short driving distance to various places: Lake St Catherine State Park √+; the Barn Restaurant√+; Otto's Cones Store√+; Liebig Berry Picking√+; Rutland store shopping√. Overall, a good deal - rustic and very private. A great place with plenty of room for 5 adults. Spectacular view and very quiet - except for the 2 am owl. For the price, a great deal.
We wanted a weekend getaway that would please the whole family. This property delivered! We had plenty of space to roam and even private hiking trails. We were lucky and had beautiful weather for March and spent most of our time outside playing yard games and exploring. The fireplace was very nice, especially the morning we lost power. After finding a nice diner for breakfast, the power was restored and the cabin was warm once again. The kids enjoyed the pond and seeing the cows and chickens and trying to navigate to the summit of the "mountain". My wife and I loved the peace and quiet. Cell service was iffy (which was great!) but the wifi saved me in a pinch. We hadn't even gotten down the driveway when our 4 yo and 11 yo asked if we were coming back next year. We may just have to! A thank you to Merry Lee for allowing us to stay!
