About this property

Charming cottage for 2 people

This old water mill, located in the heart of the Azun valley in the Hautes-Pyrénées, it was completely renovated in 2016, mixing the authenticity of the place with the modernity of the layout. Le Moulin de Liar is located in Arcizans-Dessus at an altitude of 850m and accommodates 2 people on 25m2 (note the ceiling is 2m).
It is located on the top of a typical mid-mountain village with a southern exposure.

Themes of the stay: Charm, comfort, relaxation or sports in the Val d'Azun, hikes in the Pyrenees National Park with its many lakes, walks, fishing, cycle tourism, mountain biking, skiing, paragliding, climbing, rafting, swimming pool, thermal ludism, , spa, tennis, cinema, casino, animal park, acrobatic park, restaurant in the village.

7km from Argelès-Gazost and 7km from Arrens Marsous, this charming gite in the Val d'Azun, is located near major tourist sites: Gavarnie, Lourdes, Cauterets or the prestigious Aubisque, Soulor and Tourmalet passes. (Pic du Midi de Bigorre), Hautacam, Luz-Ardiden, Couraduque.

In winter, take advantage of the proximity of the couraduque trails (Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding), or downhill skiing in the resorts of Cauterets, Hautacam, Gavarnie, Luz Ardiden, Grand Tourmalet.

In one word wonderfull

We stayed in a very clean and complete house. A former watermill wich was small but complete. A stream at the back of the mill and situated up into the mountains.

Excellent séjour dans ce petit « cocon » parfaitement rénové, agencé et conforme à l’annonce. Situé au terme d’une petite route très pentue, c’est le calme absolu agrémenté par le bruit du torrent et une belle vue sur la montagne. Accueil chaleureux et dynamique de la part de Stéphanie qui fournit de très bons conseils. Localisation parfaite pour découvrir le Val d’Azun.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce petit moulin où rien ne manque tellement il est bien équipé ! L'aménagement est très chaleureux et pratique, une vraie petite maison cocooning. Il est parfaitement situé et permet de rayonner sur cette belle région. Pas envie de prendre la voiture, pas de problème, certaines balades sont accessibles directement depuis le moulin :-) Merci à Stéphanie pour son accueil souriant et dynamique avec plein de bons conseils.
