No outside watercraft are allowed on the lake — this rule is very important.
This is an ecological lake, perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking, as gasoline-powered motors are prohibited.

The listing indicates 8 guests, but up to 10 people can comfortably stay.

The chalet is nestled among the trees, secluded in the forest and right by the water. Wildlife is abundant, and you can enjoy birdwatching directly from the chalet. The setting is truly stunning and one of a kind.

The chalet is a three-story home.

Main floor:
A large fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with separate tub and shower, a cozy coffee-style lounge area, and a veranda. You also have access to a large panoramic balcony with breathtaking views. The hot tub is located on the balcony and covered above, so you can enjoy it in any weather.

Upper floor:
Three bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: King bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Very large room with two double beds and a full-size baby crib

Lower level (basement):
A large sectional sofa with a 50-inch TV, a play area filled with children’s toys, a foosball table, an open bedroom with a king bed, and a half bathroom.

Outdoor space:
The terrace features a table for 6 people and two lounge chairs—perfect for enjoying the view and watching the many hummingbirds. A charcoal BBQ is also available.

The home is located in a quiet bay of Lac Rouge, with very few neighbors. We also own the adjacent lot (forest with trails), meaning no neighbors on one side. The bay attracts abundant wildlife such as loons, geese, beavers, deer, and even moose. If you’re lucky, you may spot some! A wide variety of birds visit the feeders, and in summer, it’s a hummingbird paradise.

Swimming from the dock is very easy, and by swimming less than 10 minutes to the left, you can reach the main part of the lake.

Fishing on Lac Rouge includes perch, bullhead, and pike.

We are well equipped for children: crib, high chair, stair safety gate, baby bathtub, and plenty of toys are provided.

Winter:
A snowmobile paradise. When the lake is frozen, it becomes perfect for walking, sledding, skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Snowmobile trails pass less than 2 km from the chalet, and you can access them directly from the property.

Open fires are not allowed in the area; however, a designated fire pit is available. Please also follow the fire risk index posted at the entrance of the domain.

Family and friend gatherings are welcome, but no parties will be tolerated under risk of immediate eviction.

The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for gatherings with family and friends.

Direct access to the dock right on the property.

Two kayaks and two paddle boards are available.

Bed linens and bath towels are included.

A variety of board games and DVDs are provided.

Shovels and sleds are available.

Two pairs of adult snowshoes.

A high chair, crib, safety gate, baby bathtub, and plenty of children’s toys are available.

Washer and dryer.

Il n’y a pas de réseau cellulaire. Vous devez activer vos appels wifi sur votre cellulaire. Le wifi est par satellite et peut ne pas fonctionner lors d’une tempête de neige.

Les partys sont strictement interdits et le bruit extérieur doit être maintenu au minimum.

Les animaux sont les bienvenus mais vous êtes responsables de ramasser leurs besoins à l’extérieur et vous êtes responsable de sa surveillance.
Dans le domaine, les chiens doivent être en laisse en tout temps et jamais sous aucun prétexte ne peuvent-ils aller sur les terrains des autres voisins.

Vous devez amener votre propre charbon pour le BBQ.

Vous devez amener votre propre bois pour utiliser le foyer extérieur.

Les feux d’artifice sont strictement interdis dans le domaine.

Les embarcations en provenance de l’extérieur sont également interdits. Utiliser plutôt nos kayaks et nos paddle board qui sont mis à votre disposition.
