THE BEACH HOUSE
WHERE YOU HAVE THE WHOLE PACIFIC OCEAN AT YOUR FEET
The Beach House is located on the southern end of Tamarindo Beach, midway between Tamarindo and Langosta. The Beach House has its own tranquil oasis 30 feet above the beach, ensuring absolute privacy. This ideal beach home with pool is situated in a tropical garden in a quiet, secluded neighborhood across from Isla del Capitan and three doors away from Hotel Capitan Suizo, one of the premier hotels in Costa Rica. Yet just a few steps down to the white sands of Tamarindo Beach puts you in the best location for sunning, surfing, swimming, kayaking to Isla del Capitan or a moonlight stroll after dinner. Walk two minutes to Hotel Capitan Suizo and its world-class restaurant or walk ten minutes to the heart of Tamarindo for shops, restaurants and night life. Best of all, from the Rancho of The Beach House, you can look out over the whole of Tamarindo Bay to check out the waves, watch the fishing fleet go out and return each day, have a relaxing massage on the rancho or simply read, relax and monitor the daily activity of the beach. Your faithful companion will be Missy, a happy white lab still full of energy. Besides delighting our guests she guards The Beach House against home invasions....by raccoons!
The Beach House is a 3 bedroom home. The upstairs has two bedrooms and two baths, living room and kitchen and is fully air-conditioned. There is also a 550 square foot terrace for your outside relaxation and enjoyment. Each bedroom has its own private TV and the master bedroom has a private dressing room/bathroom suite. The downstairs apartment is a large studio with air conditioning, a small but fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom and TV. The apartment has its own 200 square foot private patio and separate entrance.
The Beach House has hot water, security boxes and daily maid service. Off-street secured parking is available on the property.
Enjoy days of swimming or surfing, horseback ride through the surrounding rivers and hills, savor the local fiesta scene, and then relax with a private massage on the Rancho overlooking the beach. All these things and much more are available to guests of The Beach House.

With the property offering privacy, waterfront, beach, access, and a spectacular view, I cannot imagine a better spot to be in Tamarindo. We loved spending time in the hammocks under the gazebo, seeing monkeys in the trees right next to the house, and the occasional iguana.The house was walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shopping, so there was always something to do. Great place to get some sunny R&R!!

Great house on the beach with a perfect location near town and activities. Iliana and the groundskeeper kept the place pristine and the best part of the house was Missy the lab; such a gentle, sweet soul! We will be back!

Fantastic location and view!

The Beach House was exactly as advertised! Including Missy the lab! The location of the house was perfect, on the quiet end of the beach but only a few minute beach walk to the bars and eateries. Ileana and Alexander cared for the home and grounds very well. The tiki hut was our main hangout for coffee and cocktails. The monkey's were entertaining. The best vacation ever!

Best Beach house!!

We LOVED staying at the Beach House and can’t wait to come back! Everything about the property was fantastic, very clean with everything you need for your getaway. Everyone was wonderful to work with and all so kind and helpful! Missy is the sweetest dog ever❤️

Unbeatable location, perfect stay

An incredible property with unforgettable views of the ocean. House was fully stocked, cleaned daily and Missy the house dog was an added bonus. Far enough away from the busy parts of the beach, but close enough to walk to town. Could not have asked for more and will definitely return.

Another Great Visit to the Beach House

We stayed at the property as a group of friends and it was perfect again (second time here). The pre-arrival communication is excellent and they helped arranged airport transportation. The property is perfect. On the beach, with a pool. The unit has everything that you need to cook (if you want), daily housecleaning and groundskeeping. We would definitely stay there again.

Great House with Amazing Views

The property was perfect for our family. Our 9 year olds loved the pool and easy direct access to the beach from the property. The outdoor living area was perfect for our needs with a ton of space. Antonio and Ileana were very helpful and very kind (and Missy was great too!). We loved the place and would love to return in the future!

Best Spot on the Beach!

10/10 would stay here again! Our group is already talking about when we will go back. Super clean, perfect location, great patio! The housekeeper was there every day and the property manager was around all the time, if needed. One of the best parts of the whole stay was having Missy, the yellow lab! We miss her!

This is our third stay since 2020 and the owners and staff somehow manage to make it better each time. We truly enjoyed the dinner cooked by Ileana and only wish we’d scheduled this earlier in the week so we could have had time to enjoy the abundant leftovers. Donna, Kathy, and Katrina continue to be the “dream team” of property management, ensuring every detail is addressed and providing quick responses to all our questions.

Dreamhouse on the beach

We had a fantastic stay at the beach house! You can’t find a better location or view. The accommodations were excellent. Ileana and Antonio were there for anything we needed and Katarina is very responsive and helpful. Missy was a sweet dog and we loved having her there everyday. I will miss my sunset walks with her and playing ball in the yard. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We hope to return again. It truly was a dream vacation. Thank you to everyone.

Fabulous beach house!

This place was the perfect place for our family! The views from the house are beautiful. Go to one side on the beach and you have serenity and go to the other side and swim, boogie board, and surf the waves of Tamarindo and enjoy all the action. Katrina our host was always so helpful and responsive. She set us up with dinner at Pangas ( I highly recommend) and a boat/ snorkeling cruise with Panche out of Flamingo. We originally rented a car to go explore neighboring beaches but decided to cancel and enjoy the paradise we were in! The staff is very friendly. We had Illena cook the first night and ate the leftovers the rest of the days. Don't hesitate.. book and enjoy! The girls loved Missy too!

I left my heart in Tamarindo...

Wow, is all I can say! If you have a chance, book this beautiful property! We had so much fun here! Accommodations were very comfortable. The housekeeper Illiana and Alex the gardner and Missy the dog were all wonderful additions to our stay. We loved sitting out on the veranda in the big rocking chairs. One afternoon an entire family of monkeys came through the Banyan tree canopy, which is right next to the house. It was fascinating to watch the monkeys and their prehensile tails. One was a mother with a baby on her back. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this place. Location was great. We had everything we needed. .

Perfect

This place couldnt have been better. Just a beautiful property, close enough to town tonwalk, but private since it was all the way at the end of the beach. My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids (6-9). We did not use the 3rd bedroom because it was sepertate from the rest of the house. We just had one kid sleep on the couch. It would be perfect for an older teen or multiple couples in the house though. The house staff was lovely and my kids are still asking if we can go back just to visit Missy the dog.

Paradise found

The rental process was very easy. The management team was extremely flexible and responsive. Exceptional communication throughout the process. Very easy. The stay was like an exclusive 5+ star resort but in your own private setting. The house, propriety and grounds are stunning but the little cabana over the ocean is the reason to come. Easy walk to all the crazy activities in Tamarindo. The manager, Donna and her team were so gracious to help with all logistics - dinner / car service / directions. The house has everything you could possibly want/need including the amazing Missy who watches over you and the house and property. Come and stay for as long as you can because you will not want to leave this beautiful Paradise

Best place in Tamarindo

This was our 2nd time at Casa Doshack and it did not disappoint! The location is the best in town by far and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. There were 6 of us and everyone had a wonderful time. Our host(s) were fantastic and super helpful. We loved having Missy at the house and Antonio and Ilyana were so friendly. Even with our language barrier we understood each other. I can't say enough about this location. It's far enough away from the night time noise and music but close enough to walk if you want to join in. Getting to town is so easy and quick. You can walk on the street, use a golf cart, or just take a 10 minute walk on the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and just about everyone takes US dollars. We loved it in Tamarindo and I would highly recommend staying here. We'll be back!

Pleasantly surprised.

Arriving at night the first impression was hesitation. Our travel typically involves a high end home with amenities. However, in the morning waking up to the view of Tamarindo Bay, the oversized covered porch initial hesitation turned to joy. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Ileana looks after the house. Antonio is fantastic. And of course the star of the show is the guard dog Missi. Missi is a fabulous dog. Taking her for walks on the beach, playing catch in the waves brings nothing but enjoyment. The three king size beds are firm but comfortable. The A/C words well. There are two ensuite bedrooms, and the third is just outside the 2nd bedroom. We cannot wait to return.

As good as it gets!

Amazing location! Kathy was great to work with and Missy (the dog) quickly becomes part of the family. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and we did not even use the downstairs apartment. The beach is steps away which essentially becomes your private beach given it's location in Tamarindo. Surfed twice a day! Having a hotel a few doors down was very helpful for setting up excursions and the occasional meal. We did not have a car which was not an issue. The excursions provide transportation and there are many private car services going back/forward to the airport ($80 each way). One thing we would differently next time.....Walking to town is not easy as advertised. Yes it is 10-15 minute walk but if it is high tide than the beach is not always an option. Using the road is a bit dicey as there is no sidewalk, some of it is dirt and cars do not really fear you. We used the road many times but next time we will probably get a golf cart for a few days to help with groceries and eating in town at night. I truly can not imagine a better location in Tamarindo and we will be back many, many times.

Paradise on the Beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The first night was a bit rocky as we got in late after travelling from La Fortuna and found quite a a lot of ants and bugs in the lower bedroom, so two of our group slept on the sofa in the main house that night. The next day Antonio and Ileana thoroughly cleaned and sprayed for the bugs and it was much better after that. We knew to expect bugs in CR but it was too much. The house itself is in a wonderful location, 10 min walk to town and closer to a few restaurants. The Rancho overlooking the beach was amazing and it truly felt like paradise. We also loved the pool and porch with ceiling fan. Highly recommend having Ileana prepare a meal. The food was delicious and we had enough for leftovers for several days which came in handy when it was too hot to walk into town. Antonio helped us find surfing lessons and walked us down to find them. I thought having Antonio and Ileana there during the day would be intrusive but it was not at all. They are friendly but keep busy with their work. Missy the dog is sweet, we loved her! Don't be surprised to get a wake up call by the Howler monkeys some mornings. They greeted us two mornings and were so fun to watch. Note: there is some type of venue nearby (wedding?) and there was very loud music a couple nights, but it didn't really bother us as it was lowered around 10. It might be an issue if you go to bed early or have small children. Overall we would stay here again.

What an absolutely lovely place! Our first morning we woke up to six monkeys in the tree right outside the house and absolutely breathtaking views of the beach! The house is very private and secure and well maintained and If low tide a very easy walk to downtown.

This property is fantastic! Perfect location at the end of the beach. Superb views. Antonio, grounds keeper, was always there to keep the property and pool neat. And Elena kept the house looking great all week. Highly recommended!
