About this property

Oceanfront Tropical Paradise with 3 bedrooms and AMAZING Pool!

Welcome to Playa Negra Vacation Rentals, Jarrod and Meaghan, where we do our best to ensure a wonderful stay in Playa Negra.

**1st and 2nd floors are separated with an exterior staircase. Both bedrooms are downstairs open out to the outside garden. The 2nd floor has the kitchen, dining, living room, half bath, wraparound deck, master bedroom with ensuite full bath and 3rd story star deck.

Enjoy breezy shaded outdoor relaxing and dining, or sun beside the lagoon style waterfall pool, all set amid the palms, plumerias and mango trees.
Off the pool are the two bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, private bath and a small kitchenette. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, a full futon sofa and a private bathroom. The second floor has a master bedroom suite with a queen bed.
Using an exterior stair case you can access the 2nd floor.
The second floor also features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. This opens up to a wrap around 2nd floor deck with ocean views.
There is also a 3rd floor star deck for star gazing. The space is perfect for two couples or a small family or surf group.
There is a laundry room on the 1st floor.
The property fronts an isolated, quiet lava rock beach with incredible tide pools and snorkeling. A short walk up the dramatic black beach takes you to the Playa Negra famous surf break.
Casa Sol is located in a secure, gated community and has on site property management who will gladly answer any questions you may have about the area and ideas on what to do while you are here.

Amazing!!!

We loved our stay!! The location was perfect, we didn’t want to be right in the hustle and bustle but wanted to be driving distance. The beaches were so great, the tide pools amazing, pool was perfect and we sat on the veranda facing the ocean every morning and every evening. The security guards were so smiley and nice!! The tiles all over the house are quite slippery when your feet are wet!! The tiles all over the house are quite slippery when your feet are wet so just be aware!

Gorgeous and peaceful home!

What a special place! The location of this home is really magical. Very peaceful neighborhood, with lots of privacy. The balcony of the home overlooks the ocean, and the breezes helped keep everything very comfortable. The pool and ammenities are very lovely, and well taken care of. The layout of the home is a little unusual. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, each accessed through their own exterior locked door. Ended up being too scary for our 6 year old to have to walk outside between rooms at night. Would likely be a very comfortable/preferrable set up for adults traveling together to have their own private spaces, or for families with older teen children. We would 10/10 recommend!

Very Relaxing

Our crew really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sol. The view from the house is beautiful and we walked along the beach and tide pools multiple times. The pool is a great afternoon treat and we had outdoor massages next to the space listening to the pool water and the ocean waves. The hosts were great at taking care of our needs and responded promptly as well as offered up activity options. We would visit them again!

Remote property on the ocean and close to many great beaches

Casa Sol overlooks the ocean in a peaceful and secure enclave. We LOVED the 2nd floor living area and well stocked kitchen with wrap around balcony overlooking the ocean. The rocking chairs and hammock are fantastic features that we enjoyed daily. Both BRs with their own baths have separate exterior entrances on the ground level. Our 11 year old was a little nervous about this but we always felt safe and secure. The pool was refreshing and a nice retreat after a day at the beach, ziplining or snorkel cruise all of which are under an hour away and our hosts had great resources for activities. We were glad to have a gas bbq for nights we just wanted to hang out at “home”. You can easily walk to a swimmable beach nearby and a close drive to other beaches. Close to a few great restaurants too.

Quick trip north to Negra

First, the property is great! The pool was perfect. The property managers were very accessible. Beautiful views. Close proximity to Negra. Jarrod hooked us up with a transport for dinners and Ruben was unreal; he took us to some of the best food we have ever had and to one place we would have never experienced without him. Worked very well for my family. Would for sure stay again!

Location says it all

This property is a tad quirky in its setup so read the details carefully, however the location, (on a beautifully shaded and landscaped lot overlooking the ocean) is great. The hammocks, the pool and the ocean breezes all lend themselves to outdoor living. The property managers Meaghan and Jarrod were excellent and very accommodating.

Awesome place! Better people running it. Meaghan and Jarrod are top notch.

Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Right on the pacific , walking distance to a world class wave and you can dive right out back .

Jarrod and Meaghan were on top of everything we needed! Flat tire, no problem....stocking up on groceries, no problem....helpful information, perfect. The house was situated right on the beach with a short walk to the water. The kids especially enjoyed the low tide and exploring the rocks and tide pools. AC in the rooms blew cold and everything worked to the "T" Great stay in Playa Negra!

Casa Del Sol was an amazing experience. The pool was a highlight for the kids. Closely located to many amazing eateries, and a breathtaking sunset view from the balcony. Jarrod was easily accessible for questions and information.

Fabulous location

The managers are excellent hosts, the location is first rate, ocean views, beach walks, pool, sunsets... All first rate. It's off the beaten track, quiet and private. We can't account for the passage of days as they all seem to run together. If your looking for excitement this is not the place for you.
