This was our 2nd time staying at the location. It is very convenient for us when visiting family in the are. The property is clean and very easy to get to. We really like that it is close to all the wineries. The town has some nice places to eat as well as a nice market near buy for provisions.
Awesome little place for those who wish to explore the western Owhyee's!! The home has a historical charm. Loved the fact you learn about the gentleman who built the home in the 1930sWe very much enjoyed the history books about the area you can read while at your stay.
We met Sue shortly after arrival. She was welcoming and made some dinner recommendations. We loved the history of the home and found it very comfortable; a home away from home! The home was well equipped, was very clean and had some nice touches like a bouquet of flowers from the garden and homemade cookies waiting for us! The dogs were happy with the grounds/grass and everything was tidy. We recommend this home and hope to return.

Nice little house. Host was very kind, appreciated the cookies! If you like being in town, and dont mind being on a busy road, you will love!Wasn't quite right for us, we had little ones and were constantly worried about them getting out on the road. (No fenced yard), but the back yard was very nice and grassy, we spent a lot of time out there.Thank you so much for your hospitality!!Steve & Naomi Lindsey
Extremely comfortable little house with everything I needed. For once a rental with really comfortable furniture. Much better option than a motel and would be glad to stay here again.
We arrived late evening and had no issues entering. Parking was ample and convenient. Am amazingly well kept older home. Convenient to all of you travels during the stay. Bathroom was nice. Kitchen was well stocked with implements and appliances. A very comfortable stay all around
This is a historic home that has been lovingly updated and is very welcoming! The living room and dining are spacious and inviting. The kitchen has lots of cabinets and food prep areas and would accommodate cooking for a family. The bedrooms are nice size and bathroom has an oversized tiled shower. This home was sparkling clean and very comfortable. I would gladly stay again and not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Sue is one of the nicest person to know and we have known her and the family a long time. I would highly recommend the Rock House as a place to stay. (The plate of goodies is always welcoming)

Very comfortable and warm! It felt like staying at a family members house. The furniture and carpet have been upgraded compared to the photos, so nicer than expected. The sunrise was beautiful! Very nice yard to enjoy it from!
The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house has a wonderful history and charming. The yard has amazing, huge, trees!
