This low-rise walkup building (no elevator) 1 bedroom cabana style surfer s retreat with full kitchen is perfect for couples. With a King bed in the bedroom and a 'Trundle' day bed (makes two twins) in the living room to sleep another two guests so this private suite actually sleeps 4 guests.

Just a block and a half from Waikiki Pier and Beach, this 1 bedroom with full kitchen including oven is ideal for those wanting to save a little money and maybe cook from home.

With plenty to do and going on in the surrounding area, you re usually just 4 mins walk from whichever activity you choose. A Diamond Head view greets you on your private lanai. As the building is set back from the busy main streets of Waikiki this suite offers relaxation throughout the day.

**Limited secure Parking is an additional $30 plus tax/night (subject to change) and should be requested when booking the suite.

Loud, toilet that's difficult to work, inadequate housekeeping supplies, patio door didn't work.
Pros: secure parking, working full kitchen, additional sleeping arrangements. Cons: check in - 48hrs prior: We email confirmed check-in details. We were frustrated at arrival with a toddler after 12 hours of travel, the door code was not included in the instructions. Awaiting entry code details was an inconvenience. Daily: noise problems - owner should invest in interior windows that seal sound, not glass shutters(see below). 4am: Roosters waking us up. Everyday. (That's Hawaii though) 4am to 6am: commercial garbage trucks beeping and backing up incessantly followed by crashing glass. 10x a morning. No chance for daytime naps, other contractors nailing, doing demo, using circular and table saws our whole trip. Vagrants everywhere, the condo has an east and west side backlane, bum fights non stop. Listened to them all. One required 911 at the hotel next to us, her screaming lured out every balcony in a two block area. 20 minutes straight. Bars let out,: 12am to 230am, screams, fights etc. correcive action: get windows that SEAL!. Kitchen: oven burns everything. 400f? Cook at 275F. No tongs. No oven mitts. Stove, fridge etc was fine. Slider door to balcony, jammed, tons of filth in the floor threshold, I had to clean it just to get the door to open properly with ease. Toilet: lever requires more force than my wife or son could apply to it to flush the toilet. So I did. 3 rolls of toilet paper provided for 12 days, 3 occupants? 3, 5gal kitchen waste bags? Inadequate.

Disappointed by place, loved Honolulu
For a short stay (1 week), it would be okay. We stayed 1 month and it is not good for the period. The place is old and not well maintained, no beach chairs on patio as showned (a few rusted below stairs not usuable), many of cooking items missing (1 pot to cook, no pairing knife, no tray, just plastic glasses etc), fridge door missing bar to keep milk or bottle), found a dirty beach towel behind bed, old water bottle under dresser, no key in lock box, no internet code (had to contact owner for it),toilet tank not working properly, have to buy our own toilet paper, dish soap, paper towel if stay for a month after the week supply is gone. Too expensive for the state of the apartment. Will not come back. The location was the best part but hostel near by seemed better than our place! I have pictures to support my claims.

Location and Comfort level - Everything is just so close and that includes the famous Waikiki Beach and the suite has been well maintained and is cleaned to the highest standards.
The full kitchen is a huge plus for those wanting to save a little by cooking at home - A full Safeway super market is just 5 mins away to stock up at the start of your vacation plus an ABC mini mart is 2 mins from our front door. :)

What makes this property unique

Perfect quiet street just off the main strip - Close to The Park, The Zoo and local tennis courts, several of the owners in the building are surfers and our lanai is a perfect place to store the board between catching waves.
