The best of both worlds!! 200 yards from town and 100 feet to beach. Come and enjoy all that is offered in Sylvan Beach from restaurants, to concerts, an old time amusement park, and the beautiful beaches. This is a 4 bedroom 1 and a half bath house with two beautiful porches. It is far enough out of town to be quieter with its own beach or you can be in the middle of all the action and return back for some peace and quiet. The water and all it s activities are right at your doorstep.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and perfect for us. We also loved being able to bring our dog along for the short trip. We plan to stay in this house again when we come back to visit.

Wedding weekend extension

Location was important to us. Family wedding nearby. We had2 grandkids and 3 adult's. The House had all that we needed. Toys for the kids. Kitchen well stocked and clean. Glad we slayed longer then the weekend. Relaxed and visited family. Got what we paid for.

The House Near Sylvan Beach June 29-July 11 2025

Great vacation!! The cottage had EVERYTHING one would need. So clean you could eat off the floors. Hosts were "Excellent on any requests or questions and you can tell they strive for Excellent Customer Service and work very hard on any maintenance and cleanliness! Encourage if you have any serious medical issues like walking or wheelchairs, please contact the Hosts. They are wonderful people and we thank them! Would Highly Recommend!!

Family friendly lake house

The lake house was wonderful. It was clean and welcoming. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach and for walks into town. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Great place for family getaway!

Excellent Cottage

The property was exceptionally clean. Our family of 5 had no problem finding a sleeping location and had plenty of area to spread out then not at the beach. The beach is about a minute walk from the back door in an area that was quiet the entire week, including the 4th of July. Plenty of amenities were included that made our stay that much easier. We highly recommend this property.

Absolute amazing experience. Our only concern was next door neighbor whom is an obvious permanent resident with very cluttered and messy surroundings, a sort of eye sore to the neighborhood.

We had an amazing time at this Sylvan Beach rental and are already planning to come back! The location is perfect—just a two-minute walk to a quiet, private beach. It was so nice to be that close and still have plenty of space to relax without the crowds.The house was spotlessly clean—and I’m not easy to impress when it comes to cleanliness. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in the property.Our kids were thrilled to find toys available, which made settling in that much easier and more fun for them. The house is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for our family—we loved being able to bring our pup along for the vacation!Communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right for our stay.Highly recommend this home if you're looking for a peaceful, family- and pet-friendly getaway. We’ll definitely be returning!

My husband and I are from outside Rochester. We bought our first property in Bridgeport and added this property in November. My husband is a retired carpenter and we enjoy updating and renting our houses to people from all over. I own my own business in Williamsville, near Buffalo and we just love to spend our spare time down on the lake.

Why they chose this property

We purchased a property in Bridgeport and fell in love with Oneida Lake. My husband retired so we decided to purchase another home for ourselves and to rent out. We now have a lakefront property in Bridgeport that we rent for those who want quiet and it has a dock and walk in stairs to the lake called Carpe Diem and we now have a summer house that is close to all the fun and activity of Sylvan Beach along with its own beach area. We fell in love with this house at first sight but continued to look and kept coming back to this comfortable home. So we bought it to use and share with renters.

What makes this property unique

Close to shops, attractions, restaurants, bars, beaches, and an amusement park. Close but not in the center of all the activity for those who want a break from the hustle and bustle but want to be within walking distance.
