This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is a triple threat with its awesome location, slope-side view, and affordable rates! Fully equipped kitchen with counter seating. This unit is just a short walk to the village shops and restaurants. Access to the Ballhooter high-speed chairlift is just outside the back of the building. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom economy unit is located in Mountain Lodge and has a direct view of the Ballhooter lift/slopes. It is adjacent to Snowshoe Village, ski school, shops & restaurants. Good value for those who require basic, no-frills lodging!

Very clean condo with great proximity to the slopes. Owner responsive to any questions. Updated living room furniture. Good room for storage. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again!

Outdated but Ok….

This unit was outdated but was fine for what we were there for. We had friends also staying here but their units were super nice. Really my only complaint was that we were supposed to have an A/C unit, per our contract, but we didn’t.

Enjoyed our stay

Overall our stay was great. The property manager was great in letting us add an additional day to our stay. The location was wonderful. The building is older and could use lots of updates inside and maybe some better lighting, but once we got into our unit, it looked like a completely different place. The up keep was great and updates were very nice. It was bright and inviting. The cons: 1. The fire alarm must have been going dead and kept chirping. We Informed the front desk and they sent maintenance up the next day. They did not end up fixing the problem so it continued to chirp. 2. The toilet was not cleaned prior to our stay. There was dried pee still on the toilet seat and Inside of toilet was unclean. 3. The balcony was off limits. It would have been nice to have access to be able to step off onto the balcony. We did understand why because the railing was very low and a fall risk. Also the unit next door had full access to balcony. These are the reasons why I only gave 4 stars. Otherwise the place was great and kept up. We enjoyed our stay. Thankyou!

Great location and worked well for skiing!

This small property met our needs and had superior location to ski and a superb view. The interior of the condo was clean (a little worn) but the exterior common areas were not. The kitchen was nicely equipped with crock pot, keurig style and regular coffee makers, and a small assortment of kitchenware. Breakfast bar worked well for eating. I have no complaints about the place other than the very spotty wifi coverage. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and equipped nicely with plenty of towels. Can't wait to see Mountain lodge with the patio added back on. As with all of Snowshoe if you are making your own food bring groceries with you as the convenience store options are limited and pricy. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

We went for just a couple nights midweek. Truly ski in/ski out. It will sleep 4 but it would be cozy...was perfect for the 2 of us. My only suggestion would be a bolt on the entryway door. Not for security, but to keep the door from rattling in its frame when you have the window open to cool the unit which runs a little warm, which we were told in the welcome/check-in communications. Hard to sleep with it thumping back and forth and the alternative was to sleep with it too warm for my personal taste. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay.

Left early because it was so bad

We had a horrible time from start to finish. The check in process was awful, the room wasn’t ready at 5, which is the check in time, and the front desk staff was incredibly rude. We just had to hang around the lobby with all our equipment and luggage and keep checking in until it was clean and ready. Then when we got in the room, we were missing soap, all the vending machines were out of water, and the temperature couldn’t be controlled. We booked the room for two nights but were so uncomfortable we left after 1. Will never return.

Great stay.

Location was outstanding. Everything inside condo was great and as expected. The only issue was that the wifi reliability was poor. Would definitely stay again, and thanks for letting us use your condo.

Awesome Location

Mountain Lodge is likely one of the oldest buildings at Snowshoe, so its a little dated. But the location is second to none- its like having seats on the 50 yard line. When we were not skiing and snowboarding, we enjoyed watching all the action. This specific unit has been very well maintained and we'd have no problem combing back to this very same unit.

All you need

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for something affordable on the slopes. Great location, great view, easy check in. Condo is small, no frills, but comfortable. TVs could use an upgrade. Both are small, especially the bedroom TV. Would stay here again.

Great location and a fun stay

Nothing like waking up and seeing the chair lift from your balcony within arms reach. The unit is fairly big with plenty of room to move around. Will definitely book here again when I'm in town.
