The living room features a large sofa with the addition of a comfortable chaise lounge that you comfortably melt into as you enjoy the stone gas log fireplace and majestic native creatures that adorn the rafters. A fully stocked gourmet kitchen awaits, granite countertops in perfect order for preparing a delectable meal for a group large or small. French doors open up to 2 decks with rocking chairs, loungers and an outdoor Jacuzzi that are waiting for you & your guest to soak up the scenic mountain landscape.

Upstairs you will find another comfortable sofa in great room for extra guests with four spacious King bedrooms . There are a few major considerations when renting this property that I found misleading in the listing. First, there is a steep stairway to the first level. I was expecting stairs to the second and third levels, but there is no transparency about the steep steps to level 1, making unloading an issue. Secondly, there is no general use bathroom on the first floor which is where the general living space is located. There is a bathroom in the master suite, but none for the other guests to use. You have to use someone’s bathroom in their bedroom or go up one or two staircases. All bathrooms are en-suite. The home is not that close to the trolley if you hope to walk to it and if you drive, parking is tricky. It is quite a hike and a steep walk back to the home. The house is okay- but I found the description and pictures misleading. I would have liked to have known these details before I rented the property. I think there must have been a rental employee issue because our communication was terrible. Rent this property with eyes wide open.

Stairs: Like many homes in the Gatlinburg mountains, this cabin is built on a hillside, so there are stairs up to the main level. We have 4 other cabins with no steps to enter, and all are accurately photographed in each listing, so guests know what to expect when they arrive and unload. Bathrooms: Every bedroom has its own private en-suite bathroom, which many of our groups love for privacy. We understand it's less convenient for guests who are in the main living area, and we've made that layout clearer in the description. Trolley and parking: The cabin is 400ft from the trolley stop, and the walk back is uphill, as it is for most mountain properties in the area. Communication: We're sorry this part of your stay fell short as we try to respond timely to all emails, text or calls. We appreciate your honest feedback. This was our annual girls trip. It was 6 ladies. The house was beautiful, plenty of space and we needed for nothing. The house is close to EVERYTHING. Alamo Steakhouse and Pancake House were both a 1 minute drive. The food was excellent at both places. Gatlinburg strip was appx 5 to 8 minute drive. Upon arrival while unloading a baby bear greeted us. He was just being curious. He looked at us and then proceeded to walk down the hill. Thankfully , mama bear was no where in sight. The host was very friendly and responded quickly when contacted. We had one maintenance issue and it was fixed by the time we went out and came back. Only drawback was the parking. The heel is steep, no railings and if driving a large vehicle(we were driving a Wagoneer) it makes it very difficult to maneuver once at the top of the hill. Before leaving the next morning, two of us had to guide the car down the hill and then get in to make sure we didn’t drive off the hill. But we solved this problem by parking at the end of the hill and walking up. We would definitely stay at this cabin again.
