It's time to plan your 2025 vacation spot, family visit, or work-on-the-road stay! Why not spend it in Lyons, Colorado? Make your reservation soon and come stay with us! We would love to meet you! Located in the charming little town of Lyons, our beautiful, one bedroom carriage house is in it's own private building. It is completely furnished. No need to bring anything but clothing and personal items. The place includes a queen bed and comfortable, full-size, foldout couch. Under-eave closets provide extra storage areas or a fun hideaway for children. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven/convection oven, microwave, double burner, electric skillet, and an "insta-pot". There is a washer/dryer, TV, private carport, walk-out balcony, and use of outdoor grill and hot tub.
We are one hour from Denver International airport; ten miles from the city of Longmont; fifteen miles from the university town of Boulder; twenty miles from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. In the winter, walk two blocks to Lavern Johnson Park and ice skate; then warm up by the fire afterwards. In spring, summer and fall, the hiking trails are open and only five minutes away. Our house is one block from the St. Vrain River and a short stroll to coffee cafes, restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to the festival grounds; home of the famous Rocky Grass and Lyons Folk Festival). Music, art, quilting, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and motorbiking abound in the area. Lyons is a wonderful place to stay, anytime of the year!

I absolutely loved my stay! The space was new and clean and very comfortable. Perfectly situated so I could walk to the stores and restaurants.. It was a beautiful area and an adorable town. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back to stay again. I highly recommend it.

great hikes and beautiful river right off the doorstep

Each day my wife and I had a wonderful hike all within a very very short hop. Two beautiful river walks were the parks to the left and to the right, one block each from the cottage. 3 great Boulder county park trailheads were just less than 5 miles, steep to do-able in sneakers. If you want an ideal river tube experience, the adjacent park is an oxbow, meaning you put into the river, take the ride, hop out and walk a short distance to start over....families love it.

Amazing carriage house at the foot of the Rockies

The cottage house was modern, beautifully decorated and a comfortable place to relax after a day of adventure. Georgi and Randi were amazing hosts. They provided information about Lyons and the whole area. We felt very welcomed by our hosts and hope to come back and visit again. Thank you, Ben Barstad and Beverly Levesque

Perfect Colorado home away from home

I loved staying at Randy and Georgianna's apartment in Lyons Colorado. I stayed for over six weeks from mid June through July. I would have stayed longer but it was already rented for August. The apartment is bright, airy, and new. The location is ideal..just a couple blocks from Lyon's mainstream with a couple coffee shops, grocery store, and several restaurants. You have a small balcony to sit outside, drink coffee and enjoy the mild Colorado summer weather. Lyons is an easy 20 miles to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. I also found it easy to go to Boulder, Longmont, and Denver. I enjoyed being a temporary local. Lyons is a small friendly town that seems to offer a lot (e.g., weekly music concerts, and very interesting festivals (e.g., Blue Grass). Bottom line...I'm planning on booking another stay at this apartment.

Wonderful apartment

My husband and I are retired school teachers. After 30+ years of work, we are enjoying the wonderful amenities that Lyons has to offer. A daily walk to the coffee shop to check on the state of the world is a priority. We stay active with book clubs, town meetings, hiking, fishing, walks about town, and entertaining friends on our deck. Keeping up with the lives of our 5 children and 10 grandchildren is super fun. Meeting new people and helping to make their stay a great one is what we love about hosting.

Location, location, location! Small town living just a short driving distance to several cities. The river is a block away and there are two parks nearby and town is a short stroll.
