The Space:

Desert Safari offers comfort and striking décor! It features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's a modern, open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen. You'll enjoy gathering in the living room to watch a movie together or catch up on your favorite shows with Dish Network TV. With high speed Wi-Fi, everyone can stay easily connected and research the next day's adventures. You can dine inside or out - enjoy barbecuing in the private, fenced backyard.



Master Bedroom - King bed, comfy chair, large closet & other storage space, ensuite bathroom.



Master Bathroom - Vanity with double sinks, fully tiled walk-in shower, complimentary shampoo, conditioner & body wash.



Guest Bedroom #1 - Queen bed, comfy chair, closet, dresser.



Guest Bedroom #2 - Two twin beds, closet, chest of drawers, seating spaces.



Guest Bathroom - Tub/shower combo, complimentary shampoo, conditioner & body wash.



Kitchen - Fully equipped, coffee machine, island with seating for 2, dining area with table for 5. Kitchen items include a toaster, crock pot, baking dish, cookie sheets, pots, pans, electric roaster and toaster oven.



Living Room - Large comfy couch, additional seating, big screen TV.



Backyard - Fully fenced & landscaped, outdoor seating and table, propane BBQ grill, views of the red cliffs. Brand new Hot Tub, great for stargazing or just relaxing.



Utility Room - Full-size washer & dryer, complimentary laundry pods and fabric softener.



Garage - Two car garage available for you to park your cars.



This property is a pet friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee ( Dogs Only) if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.



Guest Access:

Guests of the Desert Safari home will have full use of the home, two car garage, washer & dryer in the utility room, and the fully landscaped front and back yard.



The Neighborhood:

Desert Safari is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family-friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones and pets!



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.



Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
