We stayed 6 nights for a ski trip. We loved the location 2 blocks from the bus to the ski resort and easy walk from restaurants and music venues. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. The owner responded very quickly to a question about the cabin. Everything was as described.
The cottage was comfortable and in a quiet location within walking distance of all of our favorite CB hangouts. We have been visiting this quaint mountain town for many years and found the Gothic Cottage to be one we would return to for a get away. Our hosts were gracious and attentive to our needs. We would recommend this to anyone interested in exploring this historic area.
We really enjoyed our stay in the little cottage. The location was terrific, quiet but convenient to Elk Ave. The linens and bedding were high quality, and the tiny kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. It was nice to have the shared backyard to relax in and enjoy the birds. Very friendly owner too!
Very convenient location to Elk Avenue and nearby hikes. Nice and very clean cabin (with great hot water!) with beautiful surroundings. Great communications from cabin owner.
Lovely cottage in a great location. Easy walking distance to everything in town. Perfect size for two people with everything you need and a fantastic outdoor space. Kitchen is small but has everything you need to make a few meals - and the mini fridge is surprisingly large! Hosts are incredibly friendly to chat with if they happen to be around when you’re there. Thanks for everything!
Very sweet back house on a quiet street - check-in was easy and the owners were friendly and introduced themselves. We loved sitting in the backyard lawn chairs and walking everywhere. Cozy with plenty of space for two people - the bathroom was nice, great shower. Our ONLY note is we wish there were more windows that opened. We were a little warm. We would (and hopefully will) stay here again!
Amazing week-long stay at the cutest, most convenient cottage!
The cottage was so cute and perfect. It had all the amenities to be comfortable for one person, was quiet and charming, and in such a great location. Will definitely be coming back!
This place is Awesome. Perfect for single or couple, Very comfortable and hot water , great location and the people of Crested Butte were Awesome , Highly recommended!
This is an charming incredible cottage with 20 aspen in the backyard and birds, hummingbirds and pollinators flitting everywhere. The short walk into town and access to mountain biking trails and the town bus system during ski season are wonderful. Leslie was extremely responsive. We are grateful to have stayed in Gothic Cabin. Best, Derry and Dave
Right size cottage for two adults. Comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to all the restaurants and shopping on Elk Avenue. Well kept by the property manager and the owners are very nice and easy to deal with.
We stayed here to take advantage of the nearby hiking and it did not disappoint. A few days we even walked to trailheads that start in-town (lower loop & green lake). Walked about 40 miles total while we were there.
The cottage was great, felt like home with lots of character. I had everything I needed and the owner was friendly and available. Really easy to get to the shuttle to take you up to the slopes. Really happy I was able to stay at this cottage and it was an extra plus to have great water pressure in the shower !
The Gothic Miners cabin had everything I needed! The bed was comfy, location is excellent - walking distance to farmers market, shops and restaurants. The kitchen has everything I needed. I highly recommend this cozy cabin and I plan on returning next time I visit CB!

I like to stay in the town of Crested Butte when I visit this area, and this cottage is perfectly located for walking out to the local restaurants, watering holes, and the farmers' market. The cottage is very cute, cozy, and had everything I needed, including an outdoor sitting area. Leslie is a very gracious host and she suggested a perfect hike for viewing the fall color on Kebler Pass. Very enjoyable visit.
Great location as advertised.
Clean and comfortable but only on window opens and one window glass is broken.
We had a great stay with daytime high temperatures in upper 60s but if temperatures much higher I think more open windows would be nice.

About the host
Hosted by Leslie Annand
Owners Leslie and Mark live in Boulder, Colorado, and we spend as much time as possible in our favorite mountain town of Crested Butte! We are long-time property owners in the town of Crested Butte, and we are available to answer all of your questions.
Why they chose this property
From Boulder, there are many mountain resort towns just a two-hour drive away. Yet, we choose to make the five hour drive to Crested Butte because it is such a special place. In Crested Butte you have the Mountain Village and the Town. Like us, we think you will prefer to be in town where you can walk to shops, restaurants and trails. You do not need a car when staying in town. A free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes will take you to the ski mountain.
What makes this property unique
We purchased the home and cottage on Gothic Avenue in May 2018 because of its location and charm. There are 21 mature aspen trees in the yard! The guest cottage is located in the backyard of the primary residence. The primary residence is not rented out. We chose the west end of Gothic Avenue for our new home because of the quiet and convenient location --Gothic Avenue is not a through street to Gothic Road (Hwy 135), and therefore it gets very little traffic. Yet, it is just two blocks to historic Elk Avenue with all of the restaurants and shops.
