'5300FT Retreat' - Stunning Private Views w/ Pool Access

This gorgeous 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo sits at 5,282 ft and provides an incredible view of Sugar Mountain from the private balcony. This condo has been decorated with beautiful vibrant colors. The kitchen is gourmet-equipped and there is a washer/dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a Queen bed, the guest room has two Twin beds and the living room has a comfy Double sized sleeper sofa. We aplogize, but please note that the fireplace is non-operational. On the first floor, you will have access to the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, WiFi and weight room. Many activities are conveniently located nearby, including skiing, ice skating, tubing, golf, tennis, mountain biking, and hiking. Sugar Top has a shuttle system. Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by SugarTop. Resort Real Estate and Rentals has no control over the shuttle system. However, we have not had any issues with this. Our SugarTop Condos are Non-smoking. Absolutely NO PETS.
No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests are required to sign a rental agreement upon booking.

Breathtaking views

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and very comfortable. The view was spectacular! Food lion right around the corner and convenient to kid friendly things to do!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience and the condo was great and clean. I just have a personal suggestion. The big slab around the fire place is a bit dangerous specially when you’re going with small kids.please try to cover it with a small mat so that nobody gets hurt.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed staying here. Being Christmas week made it hard to maneuver around sometimes but overall it was a great stay. I loved the layout of this condo and the ease of check in to check out. The view is something God himself could only make. The only thing I could mention is that it could be cleaned a little better. For the lovely cleaning charge that was tacked on, the rugs had dirt underneath them and the corners in the kitchen and bathrooms were untouched. Other than that, I felt like I was at grandma's house and it was cute.

Not many complaints except we were looking to light a romantic fire since fireplaces are prominently displayed in all of the photos, however we discovered the fireplace was not accessible. This information should be disclosed prior to making the decision to rent.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can not recommend this place. Whoever built this place did not put in enough parking at the top. I guess owners get to park in the parking at the top but renters have to either walk down the mountain or take a shuttle. This is bad in rain/ice/snow conditions and 20 or 30 degree weather. Forget carring ski gear, groceries or luggage. Unfortunately we went presidents day weekend (busiest day for skiing in the country, DONT GO THIS WEEKEND!!) We sat in line at the guardhouse for 30 minutes waiting to unload our luggage. There are only FIVE (5) spots for loading/unloading. If the place was amazing it might make up for this but the place is not amazing. I checked in at the bottom of the mountain at RRR and gave them my driver's license (they made a copy). There was an extremely unfriendly gentleman at the desk at the top of the mountain who stopped me and asked me for my drivers license again. The condo was not clean and not well maintained. There were not enough pillows and blankets for 6 people even though the rental is listed for 6 people. If I can attache photos I have pictures of stains on the wall in dining area, a pillow case that is covered in something disgusting, cheap uncomfortable pillow, filth under the kitchen sink, dirty baking sheets, damages that are partially repaired near the microwave. The latch to the master bedroom was broken and the owners closet had TWO (2) signs 1. "Dear Guest, Please be advised that this is the Owner's Closet containing personal property. Please DO NOT DISTURB. If broken into, your Security Deposit will be processed and the matter pursued. Enjoy your stay and Thank You! Sugar Mountain Lodging, Inc" The second below this read, "Homeowners locked closet. Breaking into will result in Criminal charges." The closet was unlocked and open when we arrived.

Reviewer Comments: The day we checked into our unit we were getting ready to cook dinner since we all just came off the mountain and we opened our drawer to find a bug in the utensil drawer. We quickly checked the rest of the area and the drawer beside it also has small dead bugs throughout the utensils. As well as the pot and pan cabinet below. I called the after hours number and a man answered and said he would come after I told hin we found bugs in our drawers and the drawers were filthy, he said the leaning people never reported anything. As soon as he walked in I showed him the drawers and he didnt react to it at all but said where are the bed bugs. I said I never said bed bugs but the drawers and live bugs we have to kill. He would not stop mentioning it and said well I can either give you a different room which I only have one and its dirty and hasnt been cleaned and he didnt like the carpet or we stay put and come thursday "dont call me asking for a refund". So my two options were a dirty room or an even dirtier room. As he was walking out he tried to tell us we had too many people staying in our room and my uncle and dad both said they weren't in our room and their room was right in front of ours. Then on top of his rude attitude he said "why dont you guys have another drink" to my dad and uncle who on christmas eve had only had 1 drink not that it was any of his business.The other two rooms we paid for one was never cleaned. He had an irritated attitude and we wanted to cancel one room and split the rest of the people amongst the other 2 rooms. He was so pushy and wouldnt listen and proceeded to be so disrespectful and unprofessional asked why they were only just getting in the room on Christmas day when they checked in at 2pm and walked into the room at 8pm. Its christmas and my daughter birthday so we were literally on the mountain all day. Again none of his business. The third room had a bathtub that was so clogged the water never drained and they had to use a different
