About this property
Waterfront villa centrally located between West End and The Valley!
Water’s Edge is an oceanfront, five-bedroom villa on Pelican Bay, just 600 feet from Blowing Point Beach. This villa is ideal for couples and families alike, and is near Anguilla’s ferry and restaurants.
THE LOCATION
We fell in love with the property when we first saw it. As you walk through the gate, you are greeted by a lush tropical garden filled with various palm trees, croton, hibiscus and bougainvillea. Little iguanas scurry underfoot as colorful birds flutter between the trees. The covered front patio is the perfect place to take in the garden while curling up with a book.
As you walk down the sidewalk towards the backyard, you’ll see the pool, but the turquoise bay will steal your attention. Pelican Bay is a secluded bay with a reef protecting it from the waves coming from the east. It’s a great place to snorkel or just sit and enjoy the pelicans diving for their lunch. The back patio has a large covered area as well as plenty of seating around the pool. The property is surrounded by 15’ hedges so it is fantastically private, and pulls all of your focus to the water.

THE VILLA
Whether you enter through the front door or the back doors, you arrive in the large common area - the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Two 16’ sliding doors in the light-filled villa open to the patio and pool. The living room features a Smart TV, ceiling fan, and cushioned seating. There are games, toys and books for the guests to use. The kitchen is well equipped and ready for you to create amazing dinners or for a chef to cater meals for you. There is a large refrigerator, gas range, microwave, beverage refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and blender. On the patio is a gas grill. The breakfast bar and dining table seat 12 in total. A Sonos sound system and WiFi run throughout the house, and security cameras provide peace of mind.
All five bedrooms, including the studio apartment suite, feature air-conditioning and a Smart TV. Our bedrooms are named after the artwork on the wall. Upstairs in the main house, the OCTOPUS and GOAT bedrooms are two identical master suites. Each has an ensuite bathroom with shower, large closet and king bed. They open to a large balcony overlooking the pool and Pelican Bay. On the first level, there are two connected bedrooms, PALM and HIBISCUS. You walk through PALM to get to HIBISCUS. Both have two twin beds that can also be setup as a king bed. HIBISCUS has an ensuite bathroom with shower and exterior access to the front patio and garden via a sliding door. PALM uses the hallway bathroom which has a tub/shower combination. These can be combined and used as a family or kids room, or kept entirely separate with Hibiscus accessing via the patio door. YUCCA, the detached studio apartment, has two twin beds that can be setup as a king bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette.
The villa is supplied with all linens, paper products, beach towels, umbrella, cooler, beach chairs, pool toys, snorkeling masks and other items to make your stay more comfortable.
MISCELLANEOUS

Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 10am.

About the host
Hosted by Charles

We first visited Anguilla in 2000 and loved it! For years we visited other islands and compared them to Anguilla. Having kids slowed us down for 5-6 years. When our youngest child was just 2 months old, we decided it was time to get back to traveling. There was only one place that we considered. In 2011, we went back and have been back every year since, sometimes multiple times a year.
Why they chose this property
We saw this property around 2016. We fell in love with the lush gardens and stunning views. After Hurricane Irma, our realtor called us. We were on a plane the next day and made an offer.
What makes this property unique
This property is private and peaceful. You have amazing sunrise views from the upper bedrooms. It is located close to the Valley and the West End. And yes, there are actually pelicans diving into Pelican Bay, right in front of the villa!
