We had a nice stay at the Wears Valley Lodge. Check in through VRBO was a little slow but it was easy to get in touch with our host David. The cabin was very spacious & plenty of room for our party of 9 to sleep. The cabin sits in a convenient location, private yet only 15 minutes from the Parkway. We all really enjoyed our stay here.
The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with essentials that you need for cooking. It was stocked with enough towels and washcloths to accommodate everyone. The cabin was beautiful. David was quick to answer any questions I had. I will definitely rent from them again when I come back to the Smokies. And I will let my friends know about this place. Had a memorable trip with the family.
We had a great time in this cabin! Excellent location, no steep or curvy roads to get there & the cutest coffee shop nearby (Wears Valley Coffee Shop)! The souvenir shop next door has a huge selection & you can personalize t-shirts! Easy 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Big rooms, big beds, hot hot tub, pool table for down time! Thanks so much!!
The cabin was very nice and plenty of room for our family of six. It is in an easily accessible location and had a large backyard that was nice. Would stay here again!
Nice property close to Pigeon Forge without the busyness of Pigeon Forge. Great for our elderly parents and late teenagers/young adults. Would definitely recommend this place.
Cabin was just right for meeting friends (8 of us). Liked that it was not in the congested area of Pigeon Forge. And was pet friendly. Enjoyed our stay.
Overall it was great just minor issues front and back yard needs mowing and maintenance, replace some blinds and both bathrooms shower/liners but family really enjoyed it thank you.
It was a great place to stay with multiple families and close all activities for all ages. The house was stocked great and the hot tub clean! Thank you!
We had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious. everything you needed was close by. Even used door dash for a few forgotten items form the grocery store. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great time.
Cabin smelled musty, nasty air filters, cobwebs everywhere, ad picture didnt show it was connected to a gift shop, no heat upstairs and texted & called owner with no reply. Terrible stay.
This was our second visit to this cabin. We had an amazing time.
We had a couple little issues. I called around 10 in the morning to tell them and someone was there by 12. The repair man was very friendly and fixed what I called about and done a couple things I didn’t even ask for. We plan to make this cabin our family getaway.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable and good! Communication with owner was difficult. Water in upstairs shower wouldn't get hot. Porch banisters on steps were very loose and hazardous and there was gum on the ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms and lip gloss in the living room floor when we arrived. We were allowed to check in early which was very helpful and the cabin was nice and roomy. It would be nice to have a key pad at the back door as well as the front door, since that is the handicap access point. We weren't there very much because we were there for a Women's Conference, but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Loved this cabin! The location is perfect. It is easy to find. One guest was pulling a trailer, so the flat parking was awesome. There were 9 of us and had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels. I did not hear anyone complain about a cold shower. It could be time for a mattress update, especially for the upstairs bedrooms and bunk beds. The sprayer on the kitchen sink tends to stick. Overall it is a great place and we would definitely stay there again!
